Because of the style of the dress, when Fu Chuji lowered her eyes, what she saw was a large expanse of skin on Liu Yin's back, loosely tied with a few light blue ribbons.
The man subconsciously looked away, subtly shifting his gaze to the side, before asking, "Shall we begin now?"
"I'm not very good at doing these things," Liu Yin muttered. If there were no other people or cameras around, she could ask 003 to do it, but 003 wasn't there at the moment.
"It's alright." Fu Chuji's eyes curved slightly. "I'll do it."
Liu Yin looked up at him, her gaze sweeping lightly over the man's handsome face before settling on his well-defined hands, and asked with a hint of doubt, "Can you do it?"
Although Liu Yin hadn't spoken to Fu Chuji yesterday, she still remembered the dinner he made last night: a clump of noodles that didn't look appetizing.
Fu Chuji's smile froze for a moment, and she replied somewhat uncertainly, "I think so, I can try."
"Then I'll prepare the materials for you." After saying that, Liu Yin glanced at the book in Fu Chuji's hand. "Have you chosen which one to make?"
The man nodded. "I've made my choice."
The important thing is to make the cake base first; the rest can wait.
"You need to prepare eggs, low-gluten flour, corn oil, and sugar."
After Liu Yin gathered all the materials, she stood next to Fu Chuji and watched his movements.
She suddenly noticed that Fu Chuji would occasionally push up his glasses, and when his fingers were not in a convenient position, he would use his wrist.
Liu Yin smiled and leaned closer to ask him, "Did we talk yesterday?"
A sweet fragrance wafted over her, and Fu Chuji paused in her actions before lowering her eyes and replying, "No."
"Then how do you know my profession?" Liu Yin was certain that she had never met him before.
Although the man remained silent, Liu Yin would probably not forget his face.
Fu Chuji paused for a moment, then lowered her voice and said, "The director told me that before."
When Shen Yan told her, Liu Yin suddenly understood something. After all, Shen Yan had repeatedly said that he would find her a perfect boyfriend.
"Oh." Liu Yin drawled, looking at him with a smile, "So you're the one Shen Yan wanted to introduce to me."
"Mmm." Fu Chuji responded softly, lowering her head even further, her ears feeling slightly warm.
Feeling her heart pounding, Fu Chuji suddenly felt a little fortunate that she wasn't someone who blushed easily, otherwise Liu Yin would have noticed immediately.
The man had his head down, his mind preoccupied with other things, and was somewhat distracted.
Suddenly, a pair of hands were stretched out in front of him, and a voice sounded in his ear, "Is the prescription very high?"
Liu Yin adjusted his glasses for him, and then saw that the man's face had turned completely red.
Fu Chuji replied subconsciously, "I'm not nearsighted."
"Then why are you wearing glasses?"
"I'm used to it."
"I'm used to it," Liu Yin thought to herself, when suddenly the man beside her said, "Could you help me take off my glasses? They're a little inconvenient."
"Okay." Liu Yin nodded happily.
Fu Chuji bent down slightly, lowered his eyes, and looked at Liu Yin's fair and beautiful face.
Liu Yin tiptoed to remove the man's glasses, and only then did she realize that without the glasses, Fu Chuji's eyes were very sharp.
With his glasses on, he looks like a refined scholar, but without them, he has a touch of the shrewd scoundrel.
The two were very close. Fu Chuji stared straight at Liu Yin for a while, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly.
"Your eyes are beautiful," the man said in a hoarse voice, as if he were suppressing something.
"You too." Liu Yin smiled faintly, her gaze meeting the man's.
What's in a man's eyes? Obsession, passion, and possession.
Liu Yin was quite curious as to why his face remained so calm.
