Wen Li was reluctant to think about what was being hidden under the clothes, but in fact, he seemed to understand a little.
"Are you alone at home?" Wen Li looked around the room. It was clean and tidy, with many small decorations, giving it a warm and cozy feel.
“Yes.” Liu Yin lowered her eyelashes, her tone tinged with melancholy. “My husband is dead, that’s why I’m waiting for him here.”
Husband? Wen Li was slightly taken aback, because Liu Yin looked very young, so Wen Li never thought that she would actually be married.
But the news of her husband's death was undeniable, and the man felt a little happy. He coughed softly, "I'm sorry to have brought up something so painful for you."
Even so, Wen Li still remembered the red mark on Liu Yin's neck. So, who was that man?
Wen Li suddenly remembered the man who delivered her breakfast that morning. He was tall and seemed reliable, but it couldn't be him.
He sent her flowers yesterday, but she refused them. If it were him, Liuyin would have no reason not to accept them.
He had just arrived in Zuoshou Town and was not very familiar with the town, so he couldn't determine who the man from last night was. Thinking of this, Wen Li couldn't help but feel a sense of irritation.
He rarely had such emotions, but this also indicated that the woman in front of him was unusual.
He suddenly reached out and covered Liu Yin's hand on the table. As she tried to pull away, he tightened his grip. Meeting the woman's questioning gaze, Wen Li asked in a deep voice, "Who is that man?"
Liu Yin avoided his gaze, feigning innocence as she softly said, "I don't know what you're talking about."
"You know that." Wen Li held her hand tightly, his gaze becoming increasingly audacious, as if trying to peek through the fabric to see what lay beneath.
He was never a good person to begin with. How many good people can survive in dungeons? He was no exception. Countless people had died at his hands in countless dungeons, only gradually seeking death because they grew weary of the experience.
But the instance won't let him die. Anyone can die in the same instance, but he's the only one who can't die.
As for now, why should he pretend to be gentle in front of her? She's just an NPC; if he wants her, she can have her.
If possible, Wen Li hoped this would be his last copy, but the woman in front of him had to be his.
"Good girl, tell me quickly, who exactly is that man?" Wen Li lifted Liu Yin's face, forcing her to look him in the eye.
Those beautiful eyes were now filled with terror, and her eyelashes were damp with tears, making her look rather pitiful. Wen Li reached out and gently rubbed the corners of her eyes, thinking that she would probably be even more beautiful if she cried.
Liu Yin knew who it was, of course, but she just pursed her lips and shook her head, her eyes filled with tears as she looked at him.
"Alright." Wen Li was a little disappointed, but she didn't let go of his hand. "Then I'll just have to come and see for myself."
The man reached out and pulled Liuyin into his arms, whispering in her ear as he looked down. But his eyes fell on the back of Liuyin's neck, which was covered with teeth marks and hickeys.
The person seemed to be very measured; the teeth marks were swollen and painful, but there was no bleeding. Just by looking at them, Wen Li could imagine what the person had done.
He bit down hard on the back of Liuyin's neck, closing his eyes as he carefully searched for her memories of the previous night.
A familiar face suddenly appeared in the scene, looking somewhat like him, but Wen Li was certain that it wasn't him; he hadn't been here last night.
