When Feng Wenyun returned, it was almost dark. A gentle breeze blew as the man pushed open the door.
A single door separates them, seemingly isolating them into two different places.
He didn't notice the large temperature difference, because even in the height of summer, the nights could be quite cool.
Feng Wenyun and Liu Yin only moved in last night, and they just think they chose a good location.
When he pushed open the door, Liuyin was already fast asleep.
Looking at Liu Yin's sleeping face, Feng Wenyun quietly closed the door without disturbing her.
After taking a quick shower, the man lay down beside Liuyin and began to recall the events of the day.
There aren't many entertainment options in the countryside at night.
Most people are exhausted after finishing their work, so they quickly eat, take a shower, and go to sleep.
His family members were no exception.
But he suddenly seemed to have free time. Or perhaps he had always been free, but only realized it now.
What should he do tomorrow?
Oh right, I should go get some seeds; we'll start planting vegetables in the yard tomorrow.
Looking at Liuyin sleeping soundly beside him, the man pulled her into his arms and then fell into a deep sleep.
When Liu Yin woke up, it was almost noon. She touched the spot next to her, but no one was there.
With 003 cooling down the space, even though it's almost noon, it doesn't feel hot at all.
After Liu Yin opened the door, she immediately saw Feng Wenyun planting vegetables in the corner of the yard.
Upon hearing the noise, the man immediately put down his farm tools. "Breakfast is still in the pot. I'll go get it for you."
Liuyin looked at the land he had turned over, then nodded slightly.
The man was indeed busy for a while, busy washing clothes, busy planting vegetables, and busy cooking.
But even so, Feng Wenyun still felt like she was idle.
He's been thinking about whether he should start earning work points too, since he's married to Liuyin and needs to support his family.
Although his mother had given him a lot of financial support, it would eventually run out. As for Liuyin's money, he wanted to save it for now.
However, his plan was interrupted by Liuyin before it could be implemented.
003 has been wandering around the yard lately, and it sees through Feng Wenyun's little schemes perfectly.
While it's good that the man is hardworking, there are things it doesn't understand. It's already given its host a lot of money, so why does the man still want to work in the fields?
When he's working hard in the fields, sweating profusely, he might not even earn enough in a day to buy a pound of pork.
003 didn't understand, so he went to ask Liuyin.
Feng Wenyun had only thought about going to the fields, so she hadn't told Liuyin about it yet.
"Has the thing you sent not arrived yet?"
Liu Yin finally understood why Feng Wenyun had been so restless lately, never wanting to be idle for even a moment.
As for getting out of bed, he shouldn't even think about it.
"Almost there, it should arrive in another two or three days," 003 replied. Logistics were very slow in this era.
"You can add an oven and dessert recipes inside, and then let him learn properly."
Liuyin clearly prefers a man to stay at home with her rather than working in the fields.
Could it be that we didn't have enough money last time? Liu Yin wondered to herself.
This era is different from the past, especially in rural areas like this.
Once a man gets married, he faces a very real problem: supporting his family.
Except for those who are irresponsible towards their families.
A man with even a little sense of responsibility would not want his wife to go hungry with him.
However, in this village, the easiest way to avoid going hungry is to work in the fields.
Liu Yin could understand Feng Wenyun's thoughts to some extent, but she just felt it was unnecessary.
She has a lot of money and doesn't need Feng Wenyun to work so hard in the fields. Otherwise, why would she have chosen him in the first place?
Aside from the fact that he looked at her with the affection she had for him, wasn't it also because of his face?
If he really went to work in the fields, he would be no different from the other men in the village.
Just like his older brother, Liuyin had met him many times.
Family members always have some similarities. Feng Wende was tall and muscular, but he was very tanned and looked like an honest and simple man.
Liu Yin felt that she preferred someone like Feng Wenyun.
