Rong Qing spoke casually, his expression disdainful.

Shi Lan glanced at him and said indifferently, "She is my half-sister."

Rong Qing froze, slowly turned his head, and said incredulously, "Your sister?"

A cold glint flashed in Rong Qing's eyes, but it vanished in an instant, and he returned to his boy-next-door appearance.

Shi Lan didn't notice his change. At this moment, she was staring coldly ahead. What she wanted to know most at this moment was which lazy bum in the manor had sent a message to Shi Yi, letting this wretched woman run into Ning Zhan here.

Shi Lan paused for a moment, but without turning around, she quickly passed through the flower bushes.

Rong Qing touched his nose, staring intently at the pavilion, lost in thought.
