She turned to look at Liu Minde, as if wanting him to remind her.
Shi Lan stood up from the futon and nodded frankly, "That's right, I am the woman who went to his cave to congratulate him on his foundation establishment."
Li Mingrou stared in shock, her eyes wide. Shi Lan smiled and circled the two of them, passing the slightly dejected Liu Minde, before standing in front of Li Mingrou. "This is a long story, and I don't have the patience to tell you. Just know that every spirit stone your Daoist partner used during her Qi Refining stage was earned through my hard work hunting spirit beasts. As for why I gave it spirit stones," Shi Lan tilted her head and said, "you're so smart, you should know why, right?"
Aside from couples who are mutually attracted and have feelings for each other, Li Mingrou couldn't think of anyone else who would be willing to give up a spirit stone that could enhance their cultivation.
Li Mingrou opened her mouth twice, and it took her a while to react. She quickly grabbed Liu Minde and said, "Minde, tell me, what she said isn't true?"
Liu Minde was pulled so hard he stumbled. Just as he was about to deny it, Shi Lan was happily playing with the thin rope of the storage bag, twirling it around her finger, her bright eyes watching him with a half-smile.
Liu Minde stared at the storage bag for a while, then finally lowered his head.
Li Mingrou staggered backward, unable to accept this fact.
Shi Lan pursed her lips, unable to accept this; she really was a hothouse flower.
Liu Minde couldn't bear to look directly into Liu Ming's heartbroken, tearful eyes. He turned away, somewhat angrily, and said, "Are you satisfied now?"
Shi Lan raised an eyebrow and shook her head.
Liu Minde's eyes widened, his face full of anger, and he almost squeezed out the words through clenched teeth, "Then what else do you want?"
Shi Lan chuckled lightly, a flash of golden light appearing at her fingertips as she pierced through Liu Minde's chest. "That's about right." (To be continued.)
