Mo Yun smiled and said, "This is a good brother of mine in the army. He's going to take up his post in a couple of days and happens to be passing through here. He said he wanted to come and visit."
Shi Lan nodded, indicating that she understood, but she was wondering why he was so happy that he had come all the way here and made her drop everything to listen to her visit, even though it was a good thing for his brother.
Mo Yun wanted to say something, but then thought that the matter hadn't been completed yet, so he decided to wait until it was finished before saying anything. Thinking of Shi Lan's happy expression after the matter was resolved, Mo Yun smiled foolishly to himself.
Shi Lan glanced at him several times, and seeing that he didn't seem to notice at all, she found it amusing and laughed too.
After the couple chuckled to themselves for a while, Shi Lan finally remembered the important matter and quickly and seriously told her about what she had discussed with her sixth aunt.
Mo Yun hesitated for a moment, "I know Uncle Jiu's house. It's in a rather remote location. It might not be very safe for Yu Xiu to live there alone."

Mo Yun sighed and said, "Let's put this matter aside for now and talk about it after my brother arrives."
Shi Lan glared at him.
Mo Yun smiled helplessly, stepped forward and gently stroked her little face to comfort her, "Good girl, listen to me this time."
Shi Lan pouted, tossed her head, and went straight to the bed, pulled up the covers, covered her head, and ignored him.
Mo Yun stood by the kang (a heated brick bed) for a while, and seeing that Shi Lan refused to come out, he had no choice but to blow out the oil lamp and get on the kang.
In the darkness, a strong arm emerged from under the covers and quietly rested on the bulging blanket beside it.
The bulge swayed back and forth, swinging its arm to the edge of the mattress.
His arm paused for a moment, then climbed back up the bulge.
The drum shook again.
Arm falls again, then climbs again...
After repeating this process several times, the arm finally took firm root at the bulge.
