Shi Lan was exhausted at the moment, but she forced herself to take off her outer clothes, blow out the lamp, and get onto the kang (a heated brick bed).

The skin was cool and still damp, and felt a little rough to the touch.
“And here,” he said, his slightly cool hand covering hers, pulling her from her neck to her chest, then to her abdomen, and back up to her neck, climbing up to her cheeks. “And here,” he said, moving his body with difficulty toward Shi Lan.
“And here,” he opened his mouth, speaking indistinctly, “it’s all broken.”
In the darkness, Shi Lan rolled her eyes and soothingly patted his face, saying, "Are you feeling better now?"
Mo Yun was silent for a moment, then said, "She tried to kiss me just now."

Mo Yun moved closer to Shi Lan and said, "Lan Niang, I bit my lip so she wouldn't kiss me."
Shi Lan remained silent. So, was this person trying to curry favor with her and asking her to compensate him?
The thought had barely formed when Mo Yun said, "I don't want her to kiss me."
Then he quietly moved closer, his head tilted back, his warm breath like a gentle July breeze.
