Chapter 398 The Very Last (Fifteen)

Blood meandered down its body, staining the surrounding water red.

The giant python convulsed violently in pain, its body, as thick as two of Shi Lan's waists, constantly coiling and relaxing, its mouth wide open as if roaring.

Shi Lan quickly made a hand seal, and the small sword trembled as it forcefully plunged downwards.

The python was in even greater pain, and with a powerful flick of its large head, it sent the small sword flying.

Shi Lan was startled and quickly recalled Xiao Jian.

With the sharp weapon removed from the wound, the giant python recovered and coiled its massive body around again, spewing out a dark liquid that was no less icy than ice.

Shi Lan dodged in mid-air, but the giant python rolled its body to block her path. Shi Lan's movements were slowed, and a few drops of black water accidentally got on her arm.

The fabric hissed and emitted blue smoke. Shi Lan hurriedly cut off her sleeve, but it was too late. Several black marks were left on her arm.

Shi Lan frowned and quickly took out an antidote pill.

The giant python grinned and pounced. Shi Lan had no choice but to throw out the ancient mirror to defend herself. At the same time, she made a series of hand seals and used the light reflected from the mirror to control the python's squinting eyes and glance to the side. She then used the small sword to pierce its vitals from behind.

When stabbed in its vital spot, even a powerful python is powerless to defend itself. It struggles and rolls its body, but the small sword penetrates deeper and deeper with its rolling motion.

Shi Lan removed the ancient mirror, pinched her fingers, and the small sword, carrying the constantly coiling and struggling giant python, left the water's surface.

The little snake, which had been hiding in the water, saw that the giant python was doomed and quickly plunged into the depths. After Shi Lan finished off the giant python, he tried to look for them again, only to find that the two snakes had already vanished without a trace.

Xiao Ming skipped and hopped to the giant python and began to feast.

Shi Lan said helplessly, "Xiao Ming, we should save this for tomorrow."

Xiao Ming looked up at Shi Lan, bared his teeth, and then buried his head back down to continue gnawing.

Shi Lan shook her head with a smile. Anyway, she was just saying it casually. Right now, not only was Wan Rou watching her like a tiger, but there was also a giant python that had inexplicably come chasing after her.

She carelessly left a trail just now, and it seems she won't have a peaceful life from now on.

Xiao Ming quickly devoured the giant python, and Shi Lan summoned Xiao Yun, who then led Xiao Ming to the central part of the God Realm at top speed.

After rushing around day and night for five days and nights, Shi Lan was exhausted and landed. She had now left the lake that connected to the vast ocean and was now surrounded by a shallow stream.

Leaning against a large rock, Shi Lan wearily rubbed her forehead. While Xiao Ming mischievously ran to the stream to catch fish, she untied her bound arm. The black mark that was the size of a water droplet had grown to the size of half a palm, and judging from the surrounding marks, it was showing signs of continuing to spread.

Shi Lan sighed softly, swallowed a nearly ineffective antidote pill, and then two golden pills to replenish her immortal power before sitting cross-legged in meditation.

At midnight, Shi Lan picked up the sleeping Xiao Ming and rode up on a cloud.

Fifteen minutes later, a high mountain shrouded in a faint golden light became faintly visible.

Shi Lan was immediately invigorated, and with her immortal power flowing freely, Xiao Yun shot straight towards the target like an arrow.

A beam of emerald light suddenly appeared, knocking Shi Lan to the ground.

Shi Lan rolled awkwardly on the ground, and a pale green ribbon fluttered by, with Wan Rou standing on it, looking down at her.

"Ugly freak, try running again if you dare."

Shi Lan struggled to her feet, her brows furrowed with obvious gloom. "Immortal Lord Wanrou, I've always been curious, what is it that you're so relentless about?"

Shi Lan staggered, coughing twice, "Did I kill my lover or steal your marriage? You are so cruel and bloodthirsty, no wonder Qingyue has fallen for someone else."

Wanrou's face immediately turned black, her eyes contorted with a terrifying ferocity. "What did you say?"

Shi Lan chuckled, "What are you talking about? Don't you know? This matter has spread throughout the entire God Realm."

Wanrou's high, firm breasts heaved repeatedly. "Explain yourself clearly, and I'll spare your life."

Shi Lan grinned, lowering her eyes to hide the mockery in them.

To be so easily provoked and so easily swayed by others—such stupidity is rare even in the realm of gods.

Shi Lan didn't really understand the word "love." She didn't know that most people would act this way when it comes to their loved ones.

“I’m asking you a question,” Wanrou said, pulling back her ribbon and pointing her sword at Shi Lan.

Shi Lan picked up Xiao Ming and walked towards her.

“Actually, you have your own feelings, so why do you have to tell me?” Shi Lan smiled faintly. “Perhaps the gods have lived for too long. In their eyes, gentle and reserved ladies are as rigid as wood. Only lively and innocent girls who are curious about everything are more likely to win their favor.”

Wanrou frowned and said, "Them, that slut isn't satisfied with Qingyue, she has to seduce other people?"

Shi Lan smiled: "This is what the Immortal Lord himself said."

Wanrou glared at her coldly, "If you can't explain yourself clearly today, I'll make sure you die on the spot."

Shi Lan smiled and unconsciously took two more steps. "That person, you actually know him too, Immortal Lord."

Wanrou's eyes widened, and taking advantage of her momentary daze, Shi Lan suddenly flicked her sleeve, her cheeks flushing an unnatural red, and she swooped down like a swift phoenix towards the mountain gate several miles away.

Wanrou, having received no answer, was unwilling to let her leave and quickly used her magic to stop her.

But how could she stop Shi Lan, who had burned away the immortal essence?

Just as she was about to trigger the restrictions on the mountain gate, Shi Lan could no longer hold on and collapsed to the ground.

Wanrou stared at the flickering restrictions on the mountain gate, stamped her foot in resentment, but ultimately dared not provoke the tiger, and could only retreat.

The mountain gate was quickly opened, and Yunpu peeked out. When he saw the figure on the ground, he was taken aback at first. But when he saw the clothes on the person, his expression changed slightly, and he rushed over in a few quick steps. "Xiaoping, what's wrong?"
