Because he always had uncontrollable emotions towards Shi Lan, he went to the Immortal Lord Siyuan, who was in charge of matters of love in the Three Realms. Siyuan told him that the immortal lock that he had specially tied for himself and Lan'er had somehow opened. Siyuan was worried and didn't know what to do. But later, he didn't know why the lock was tied back on by itself.
He pointed to the vines winding their way along the other side and said, "I don't know where these vines came from, but they're trying to cut me off. Do you want to break them?"
Haoze pondered for a moment, then asked carefully about when the marriage lock was unlocked and when it was tied. Recalling the moment he met Shi Lan, he had a vague understanding.
After a period of time, through his deliberate and focused interaction, he gained a clear understanding of his own heart and noticed subtle clues that he had not previously paid attention to.
When Haoze discovered that the ugly little fairy who always gave him a strange sense of familiarity was actually the person he had been longing for, and that the one who called herself Lan'er was a complete stranger to him, he was somewhat bewildered.
Haoze had no idea how things had turned out this way. In order to find out the truth, he pretended to be oblivious and dealt with the person with ill intentions.
Haoze had always believed that after millions of years of cultivation, nothing could move him anymore.
Now he had to admit that seeing Shi Lan's face again required all his patience to suppress the pounding excitement in his heart that kept threatening to leap out of his chest.
Shi Lan tiptoed to Haoze and tentatively shook her finger. Seeing that he was breathing heavily and his body was not moving, she breathed a sigh of relief.
As usual, she straightened her posture and kissed him with practiced ease.
Soft lips gently pressed against mine, and a nimble little tongue teasingly parted my teeth, tenderly extending an invitation.
Haoze's heart pounded, but fortunately, he was highly skilled and quickly used the Turtle Breathing Technique to slow his heartbeat. His tongue followed her movements smoothly, dancing with her.
The magically conjured tabletop appeared slightly ethereal, and the long fingers that had been loosely clenched on the table had somehow become clenched into fists, with veins bulging out.
Shi Lan squinted, touching every inch of his mouth with varying degrees of pressure, and Haoze's heart fluttered with her movements.
After an unknown amount of time, Haoze felt his blood boiling. Just as he was about to lose control and try to overpower her, Shi Lan quickly examined his gums and tongue, then reluctantly withdrew her gaze.
Haoze subconsciously hooked his hand, trying to catch the gentleness that wanted to retreat.
Shi Lan's fingers tightened, and the collar of her clothes, which had been caught on her when they got close, became slightly wrinkled.
Shi Lan clearly noticed this, quickly smoothed out her clothes, put Haoze back in place, and tiptoed back.
Haoze slowly raised his head, looking at her back, his long fingers gently stroking his lips. At this moment, he suddenly didn't want to hold back anymore. He felt that nothing was more important than the two of them being together.
"You've gotten enough benefits, and you're just going to leave like this?"
His rich, magnetic voice became somewhat hoarse due to the accumulation of emotions.
Shi Lan was surprised that he had woken up, and her mind was in turmoil, not knowing what to do.
Haoze stood up, came up behind her, leaned close to her ear, and whispered, "Just because I don't say anything doesn't mean I can't sense it. Are you planning to keep this a secret forever?"
The warm breath hit my ear, causing a tingling sensation.
Shi Lan shuddered, her ears instantly burning, a faint blush quickly spreading across her cheeks and neck, her fingers, constantly steaming, clenched tightly together, and she couldn't help but lower her head to her chest.
Is there anything more shameful than taking advantage of someone, being caught, and being completely unaware of it?
Shi Lan's body went completely numb, and her soul seemed to freeze at that moment.
Haoze sighed softly, reached out from behind, and gently stroked her cheek.
"Lan'er, is that you?"
Shi Lan's eyes widened suddenly, and she turned around in surprise, her face full of joy. "You've recovered?"
Haoze shook his head and told Siyuan about his trip.
Shi Lan was somewhat disappointed, but she immediately comforted herself, thinking that at least he already knew that the fake Lan was not her, so it was still good that he could take precautions.
Haoze lowered his eyes, looking at Shi Lan whose cheeks were still flushed, and said tactfully, "Now that I know the truth, do we not need to drink this wine anymore?"
Shi Lan blinked, and the peach-red blush on her neck became even more vibrant.
Haoze chuckled softly, picked her up, and with a flick of his long fingers opened the tent. With a quick glance, Xiaoming immediately slipped out with the sensible Fatty Fish.
Haoze placed her on the couch, carefully tracing her eyebrows and eyes, and whispered, "So it turns out that the mirage fish has the effect of breaking illusions. No wonder you were able to restore your true appearance."
Shi Lan opened her mouth, about to utter a sound, when Hao Ze gently stopped her.
"Don't speak, let me take a good look at you."
Haoze's eyes were deep, with the corners of his eyes slightly upturned along with his eyebrows, and his long eyelashes curled up. When he looked at someone tenderly, one would want to drown in his gaze and never want to come out again.
At this moment, Shi Lan suddenly understood why that evil creature was willing to risk its life to gain Hao Ze's favor. Unfortunately, Hao Ze was proud by nature and would never submit.
"Don't look at me like that," Shi Lan's cheeks burned as he stared at her like that, and she couldn't help but reach out to cover his eyes.
Haoze took her hand, brought it to his lips, and kissed it gently.
The delicate body pressed against hers trembled slightly.
As if encouraged, Haoze bent down with suppleness, his straight body bending down to kiss her forehead and the tip of her nose with great tenderness, before slowly landing on her lips.
Shi Lan nervously closed her eyes, but her lips parted slightly at that moment, as if extending a shy invitation.
Haoze smiled slightly and said softly, "I'm sorry, Lan'er, it took me so long to recognize you."
Shi Lan opened her eyes, looking somewhat bewildered, as if she didn't know what he was talking about.
Haoze was amused by her appearance and gently shook her pure white skin. He whispered, "Even if my consciousness is temporarily malfunctioning, my body still follows the guidance of my heart." He pressed his lips to her earlobe. His lips rubbed against her earlobe as he said, "Believe me, Lan'er, I have never touched her with a single finger."
Hearing him say that, Shi Lan recalled her jealousy back then and pouted, "Who said that? I clearly saw her leaning against you, and you even helped her pick flower petals."
Hearing Shi Lan's jealousy, Hao Ze chuckled softly, his joy beyond words.
"That was just a visual illusion caused by misalignment. I didn't have any close contact with her. She herself was probably worried that I would discover something was wrong. Even when we were arm in arm, there were layers of magical robes and artifacts between us."
Shi Lan stared wide-eyed in surprise.
Haoze thought she looked especially cute, so he couldn't help but gently tap her nose and give her a sweet kiss.
Shi Lan snorted in protest, but Hao Ze curled his lips and traced his gaze down the tip of her nose, gently yet forcefully silencing Shi Lan's mutterings.
A gentle, murmuring sound came from the small shed. The two little guys outside the shed looked at each other, and Fatty Fish muttered, "Forget your friends when you see a pretty face," before burrowing into Little Ming's long, soft fur and falling asleep.
