Chapter 413 The Last and Final (Thirty)

Fake Lan swayed slightly, her face showing undisguised hurt. "Haoze, it's me, Lan'er, your Lan'er."

Haoze raised his long finger, and golden light enveloped the entire room.

"Since you are so stubborn, then there's no point in saying anything more. I'll skin you alive and search your soul, it'll be the same."

As he spoke, he stretched out his arm, and before he could move, golden light enveloped the fake Lan, while a sharp white light suddenly flew out, illuminating the entire room brightly.

Jia Lan shuddered. As someone who had been by his side for a long time, she knew very well the power of his natal treasure.

Haoze stared indifferently at the pale-faced Jia Lan, his small white sword spinning as it hurtled straight toward her head.

Jia Lan trembled all over, her legs so weak she couldn't move at all.

She used to follow Shi Lan and him, or stand beside him wearing Shi Lan's face, watching those enemies who were mercilessly killed by him and turned into idiots or were directly excluded from reincarnation after their souls were searched.

Every time this happened, that fake-kind Shi Lan would frown and say that he was too aggressive. At the time, she thought it was easy for her to say that.

Haoze's ruthless methods were also to eliminate future troubles; otherwise, would he let his enemy return to the mountains?

Jia Lan always believed that her ideas were correct, and she even felt that her ideas were similar to Hao Ze's, and that the two were a better match.

Seeing the murderous bone sword at this moment, she sincerely hoped that Haoze would remember what Shi Lan had said and not be so cruel to her. Of course, she hoped even more that Haoze was not targeting her at this moment, but unfortunately, this was just her fantasy.

Haoze waited a moment, and seeing that she still refused to speak, he let go and directly controlled the bone sword to cut downwards.

The glittering hairpin was instantly cut in two, and the jet-black hair fell down in a mess. Jia Lan stared at the strands of hair that had fallen to the ground and couldn't help but go crazy.

A sharp pain shot through him, and warm blood flowed down his forehead to his chin.

Fake Lan couldn't bear it any longer and screamed, waving her hands around, sending vines reaching out to grab the bone sword.

Haoze snorted coldly, and the bone sword shone brightly.

The vines split open inch by inch, turning into ashes in the blink of an eye, and falling to the ground.

Haoze stared intently for a moment, then whispered, "So it's a grass demon."

Jia Lan looked up and glared angrily at Hao Ze.

When Shi Lan was using her face and identity, he called her Little Fairy Shi Lan. How come she became a demon? Shi Lan is so good that even if she loses consciousness and loses her face, he will still protect her.

Haoze disliked her gaze and flicked his finger, causing a golden light to flash.

The precious robe on Jia Lan's body lost its radiance and turned into a dull green.

As if unable to accept it, Jia Lan roared violently. Ignoring the damage from the injured bone sword, she gripped the hilt tightly with both hands, her fingers bleeding profusely from the piercing wound. With a ferocious expression, she used her bloodied hands to forcefully pull the sword out.

Haoze frowned in dissatisfaction, flicked his long finger, and with a turn of his bone sword, the two mutilated hands fell to the ground.

The ten fingers are connected to the heart; even the injury to one finger is excruciating, let alone the loss of the entire finger.

Fake Lan suddenly let out a scream that was inhuman, a sound that sent chills down one's spine.

Unfortunately, Haoze had already placed a magic array on the house, so there was no sound coming from outside.

Haoze was inherently violent and had killed countless people with ease. To him, such screams were just a bit noisy.

Frowning, he recalled the bone sword.

"Shut up, or I'll cut your tongue out."

Jia Lan immediately gritted her teeth, afraid that he would really do that, and forcefully swallowed the scream that was about to escape her throat.

Haoze flashed forward, disdainfully shook the bone sword to remove the bloodstains, and said, holding the hilt, "Your imitation of Lan'er is so lifelike, you must have a close relationship with her. I don't want her to be sad when she finds out later, so tell me the truth and I'll give you a quick death."

Jia Lan gave a bitter smile. It was the same again. Everything was based on Shi Lan's wishes. Even how to deal with her had to take Shi Lan's feelings into account. All the tenderness she had felt in the past was nothing but a mirage.

A sudden surge of anger and resentment welled up inside her. Her gaze unconsciously fell on the faint gray mark between his brows, and she suddenly froze.

She had looked at his brow a couple of days ago, and the mark there was still very deep, unlike how shallow it is now.

Jia Lan was quite intelligent and quickly understood the reason.

Something must have happened between him and Shi Lan, which is why he was able to break free from her influence and realize that he was different from Shi Lan.

Looking at the cold and ruthless Haoze, Jia Lan was filled with despair. This was her last chance. Her clones had long been destroyed by him and Shi Lan. The one left here was the most powerful one. If she could not defeat him this time, then what awaited her true self was Haoze's questioning.

Jia Lan remembered the real person's nominal master, Ming Zhi.

It's just a matter of saving face; how could he possibly care whether I live or die?

Haoze waited a moment, and seeing that she still refused to cooperate, he simply raised his hand, ready to settle things directly.

Seeing his actions, Jia Lan dared not hesitate any longer and quickly activated the large array between his brows.

Haoze paused, golden light swirling at his fingertips, but his gaze faltered for a moment.

Jia Lan smoothed her messy hair and took two steps forward. Just as she was about to move, she saw Hao Ze's eyes dart around, as if he was about to wake up.

Jia Lan was shocked and, disregarding everything else, hurriedly said, "Remove the barrier."

Haoze obediently moved his fingers.

The golden light that enveloped the entire room suddenly shrank into a beam, and before he could retract his fingertips, Haoze frowned and broke free of control.
