Chapter 15 Phoenix Man 15

Zhang Changsheng had the same luggage as the day before, but this time the car was much larger than the taxi, with plenty of room for his luggage.

Chen Ke told him that the company had employee dormitories, so he moved directly to the dormitory.

Zhang Changsheng had assumed that employee dormitories were either makeshift sheds on construction sites or large rooms with seven or eight bunk beds. So when Chen Ke's car drove into a beautiful, seemingly expensive residential area, Zhang Changsheng thought Chen Ke was going to visit a friend.

Chen Ke had just parked the car when he heard Zhang Changsheng say, "Ah Ke, I won't get out. I'll wait for you in the car." He was so hesitant; what if he embarrassed Ah Ke by following him?

Chen Ke chuckled softly, "Brother Zhang, you might not be able to move all this stuff by yourself if you don't get out of the car."

Zhang Changsheng was stunned for a moment, then looked shocked: "Huh? The company dormitory is... here?"

Chen Ke: "Yes."

After entering the elevator, Zhang Changsheng kept asking Chen Ke how much the rent was, and whether it was too wasteful for the company to rent such a nice place as employee dormitories so soon after it was established.

Finally, when they arrived at the door, Chen Ke opened the door and handed him the key, but he refused to stay there no matter what.

"Good heavens, is this the dormitory for employees? I guess even the big bosses in our county live like this. No, I can't live in such a nice place. Ake, just find me a place to live, as long as it's cheap and doesn't waste money."

He can't do anything right. At most, he could be a driver at Ake's company. How can a driver live in such a nice house? Ake must be taking care of him because of their relationship!

If he were to move in, the other partners would definitely be unhappy with Ake, so he can't stay.

Chen Ke was unaware that Zhang Changsheng had already imagined a grand drama of intrigue and power struggles in his mind. He patiently explained to him again and again before finally moving in with a nervous expression.

Then Chen Ke carried the big bag of "local specialties" that his mother had brought him home. No wonder Zhang Erge had so much luggage; these things took up half of his black blue backpack!
