Just then, the sales manager returned, having finished his business. Seeing Duan Heng's dazed expression, he found it somewhat amusing. "What's wrong? Lost in thought? Hey, what's this? A purchase contract?"
The sales manager casually picked up the contract and glanced at it. Then, as he flipped through it, his eyes widened, and he let out a scream. The salespeople behind him were startled and hurriedly asked what was wrong.
"Aww! You damned Duan Heng, how dare you steal such a big order from me! Are you trying to kill me? You couldn't make it in the R&D department, so you've come to steal my sales department's job?" The sales manager was a woman, usually decisive and efficient, but she was surprised to see her crying with the same "decisiveness."
Duan Heng moved away a little, somewhat frightened, and looked a bit innocent. "I didn't say anything, they just wanted to buy it themselves." He even tried to persuade them a couple of times.
But these words were like adding fuel to the fire. Their sales department had been running around all day, talking until their mouths were dry, and drinking bottle after bottle of wine at the dinner table to close a few deals. Meanwhile, Duan Heng had just been sitting there for less than half an hour and closed a deal worth at least 10 million.
Oh my god, it was only half an hour! She was only gone for half an hour!
"What's wrong? Manager, please don't get agitated." The salesperson behind him, not understanding what was going on, quickly helped his manager up and comforted him.
The sales manager, utterly dejected, tossed the contract to the salesperson, then turned and sat down in the clubhouse with renewed vigor.
Today, she will stay here without moving all day, determined not to miss any fish that come to her trap!
The sales staff behind him were also shocked and speechless when they saw the contract.
It really was only half an hour. How could they miss so much in just half an hour?
