Chapter 6 The Ungrateful Mother and Son's Parasitic Life

“Son!” Lin Meixia returned to the hospital in an ambulance, and now she and Zhao Zhixuan are in the same ward.

"Mom! What happened to you?" Zhao Zhixuan asked, noticing Lin Meixia's swollen feet.

"Son, Xie Ming has gone mad!"

Lin Meixia started wiping away tears when she saw her son, but even so she still didn't want to admit the good things she and her son had done, and instead blamed Xie Ming.

"He's the one who did this to you! He didn't just ruin me, he ruined you too? I'm going to sue him and make sure he rots in jail!"

Zhao Zhixuan stared with eyes as big as cowbells, veins bulging on his forehead, showing just how much he hated Xie Ming.

Lin Meixia closed her eyes. Suddenly, she felt her son was incredibly stupid. How could she sue? What could she use to sue? Where was the evidence?

A son runs away from his wedding, and his father-in-law, who fed and raised him, beats him up—is that a big deal? The hospital diagnosis only covers superficial injuries!

Moreover, he called the police immediately, and several bodyguards were detained. The Xie family has so many lawyers; if things escalate, it's just a matter of paying more money.

And what did I do? I dragged her running? We ran such a long distance and she didn't even have a scratch. She twisted her ankle herself! And if they really sued, then the two families would have completely broken off relations.

She couldn't help but admire Xie Ming's torturous methods, which could drive someone half to death without making them find any major faults.

Thinking about the amount she had to repay in that phone call that morning, Lin Meixia immediately felt dizzy.

"I'm going to find him and teach him a lesson." Zhao Zhixuan pulled out the IV tube and strode out.

Seeing his agile figure, Lin Meixia sensed Xie Ming's deep-seated malice towards her and her son. Unable to move freely, she could only weakly shout towards the door.

When Zhao Zhixuan came out of the hospital, he was still wearing a hospital gown. He walked quite a distance to the main road, and it wasn't until people pointed at him that he realized what he was wearing.

His decades of pampered life in his previous life had robbed him of his basic survival skills, and he was at a loss as he looked at the crowds of people coming and going.

Finally, a kind citizen came over and asked him if something had happened. Zhao Zhixuan glanced at him and thought that this person was just meddling in other people's business.

He reached into his pocket, took out his phone, and dialed a number.

A concerned citizen: If I ever talk to you again, I'm a dog!

"Sorry, the number you dialed is not in service!" Zhao Zhixuan was taken aback. Uh... it seems his assistant hasn't been born yet.

Having no other choice, I swiped my phone a few times, found Miss White Moonlight's number, and dialed it.

"Xiaoya! I need to go to Zhao*, oh no! Xie's, you need to come to the hospital and pick me up right away."

"Oh, okay." Miss White Moonlight also wanted to know if the Xie family's attitude would change, so she grabbed her keys and went out.

When Zhao Zhixuan and his "white moonlight" arrived at Xie's, it was right during the afternoon work hours. He changed into his hospital gown in the car and hurriedly headed to Xie's. He even forgot his phone. Miss "white moonlight" saw the phone he left in the car and, delighted, quietly took it.

After getting off the bus alone, he swaggered in with the crowd, ready to go inside.

He frowned when he saw "Xie's" on the roof. This was his "Zhao's," and the first thing he would do after he got the shares was to change the name.

"Sir, you are not an employee here and cannot go up!" A security guard stopped him directly, his eyes sweeping over his face.

"Are you blind? Look who I am! If you dare to stop me, you're fired immediately!"

Zhao Zhixuan noticed the gaze of the person opposite him. The injury on his face wasn't serious, but it still made him feel ashamed. So he shoved the security guard hard.

The security guard laughed too. The boss had informed the entire company that Lin Meixia and her son were no longer allowed to set foot in Xie's.

"I've been doing this for 12 years and my eyes have never been this sharp! Aren't you that shameless little bastard? Get out of here! If I kick you out today, I won't lose my job, and the boss might even give me a raise!"

"Call Xie Ming out here and see what kind of scoundrels he's hired!" Zhao Zhixuan was so angry at the security guard's words that he was practically fuming. In his decades of living a life where he was the only one who could be bossed around, no one had ever pointed a finger at him or cursed him.

The security guards stopped arguing with him and simply called three of their men to carry the struggling man outside.

The employees coming and going pointed and whispered about him, making Zhao Zhixuan feel extremely embarrassed, and his resentment grew deeper and deeper.

Knowing he wouldn't see Xie Ming again, he could only get up from the ground and return to his car.

"Give me my phone." Having lost face in front of everyone, Zhao Zhixuan's face was dark and ugly. Miss Bai Yueguang handed over her phone with trembling hands.

He dialed the phone numbers of Xie's father and daughter, but found that they could not be reached, and immediately knew that they had changed their numbers.

It's not that he's smart; it's that in his past life, he would change his phone number to get rid of those shameless women he'd slept with.

Taking a deep breath, I started scrolling through my phone and finally found Xie Ming's assistant and called him.

"Hello!" Assistant Zhou was still trying to recover the money, so he hadn't deleted the mother and son's numbers.

"Assistant Zhou, has Uncle Xie changed his phone number? Give me his new number!" Zhao Zhixuan still needed Assistant Zhou to be respectful and condescending, but his tone remained arrogant.

"Mr. Zhao! Don't contact me again except when you return the money! Goodbye." The phone hung up after that.

Hearing the beeping sound from the other end, Zhao Zhixuan was so angry that he smashed his phone against the windshield.

Miss White Moonlight trembled like a quail in the passenger seat, immediately realizing that Xie Ming had abandoned Zhao Zhixuan. She immediately decided to leave this place.

Zhao Zhixuan was completely unaware of the woman's thoughts, still wondering why Xie Ming was treating him this way.
