Chapter 60
Filming proceeded as normal, and Rong Rong remained the center of attention.
She didn't have many scenes today, so she sat on the side eating cake, which Lin Zeyang bought and Sang Zi fed her.
It was simply because she was wearing a Kunqu opera costume, and the long, flowing sleeves were very inconvenient.
Sangzi smiled and fed Rongrong bite by bite. Rongrong ate until her cheeks were bulging, and her cute appearance melted Sangzi's heart.
Having read countless novels, she wished she were an ancient empress, taking Rong Rong into her harem and showering her with affection day and night!
The two of them fed each other, and were extremely happy.
Not far away, Lin Zeyang, who was filming, watched this scene with eyes blazing with anger, feeling like he had done all the work for someone else. Originally, he had planned to feed the animals himself.
"Cut!" Li Gu's furious roar echoed on set. "Lin Zeyang! What are you doing? How many takes have we had to reshoot because of you? If you don't want to film, then get out!"
Li Gu was furious. He had already tempered his temper a lot because of Rong Rong, and he was especially tolerant when dealing with Lin Zeyang. But today he was really too angry. Lin Zeyang kept getting distracted and performed worse than a random passerby!
Li Gu's roar silenced everyone instantly. Just when everyone thought Lin Zeyang would quickly apologize and promise to do a better job next time, Lin Zeyang's handsome face fell, and he said weakly, "Director Li, I'm sorry, I'm not feeling well. I need to rest. How about we film the other people's scenes first?"
Lin Zeyang clutched his stomach, looking like he was in great pain. Li Gu, still angry, asked with some suspicion, "Really?"
"Really." Lin Zeyang smiled wryly, "I didn't even have lunch."
After saying that, she secretly winked in a certain direction in the crowd, and someone immediately stood up to help, "Yes, yes, Teacher Lin didn't eat lunch and gave me her food. I noticed that Teacher Lin's expression was not right at the time."
What this person said was true, but Lin Zeyang didn't eat because he was feeling unwell, but because he was in a hurry to buy a cake for Rong Rong.
His assistant and agent were not around today, and the production crew did not allow ordering takeout, so Lin Zeyang had to go buy it himself.
He was quite happy to do so and planned to show off in front of Rong Rong, but he was tripped up by filming.
With someone vouching for him, Li Gu finally believed it. He looked unwell, but still said, "Then go and rest."
"Sangzi? Come on! Let's film your scene with Zhang Jin first!" Li Gu shouted loudly, while directing the staff to quickly set up the scene.
Just as he was happily feeding Rong Rong's mulberry seed, his smile instantly froze on his face.
She looked down at the cake, which was still more than half full. Rong Rong followed her gaze and unconsciously licked her lips, looking exactly like a gluttonous cat who hadn't had enough.
"Sangzi?" Li Gu's voice rang out again, and Lin Zeyang walked straight to Sangzi and Rong Rong's side.
"Let me do it." He naturally snatched the cake from Sangzi's hand, ignoring her unpleasant expression, and pushed her aside from her seat.
Sang Zi had no choice but to leave, turning back every few steps. Lin Zeyang, however, smiled and scooped up a spoonful of cake, offering it to Rong Rong's lips.
Rong Rong opened her mouth and her cherry lips enveloped the cream-covered cake, her pink tongue peeking out from between them.
Lin Zeyang tensed up, his cheeks flushed, and he couldn't help but recall the soft, sweet taste of their kiss, making him swallow hard.
Unaware that Lin Zeyang, distracted by his own thoughts, was watching him and Rong Rong with fury from a corner of the film crew, someone was glaring at them.
This person is Jiang Xiao, Yu Qiu's childhood friend and best friend, and also a die-hard fan of Lin Zeyang.
After learning that her sister and her idol were filming in the same production, Jiang Xiao pestered Yu Qiu to take her to the set to meet her idol.
Unable to resist the pestering, Yu Qiu sternly warned Jiang Xiao that she could only take a peek from afar, could not go up to take pictures or ask for autographs, could not run around, and had to leave after only a short while. Only then did Yu Qiu bring Jiang Xiao to the film set.
At first, Jiang Xiao was extremely excited. How wonderful it was to be able to watch her idol filming live and see Lin Zeyang, a side of her that others couldn't see!
Even when her idol made frequent mistakes and was yelled at by the director, she didn't think much of it and was even so distressed that she almost cried.
Jiang Xiao finally exploded when Lin Zeyang left the camera's view, walked over to an actress, and personally fed her a small cake.
Anger surged to her head, and jealousy nearly drove her to madness.
No one knew that Jiang Xiao was an extreme fangirl; she fantasized that Lin Zeyang was her boyfriend, and belonged only to her.
It was like self-hypnosis; over time, she even began to believe it was reality.
Now, seeing Lin Zeyang being so intimate with another woman, it was as if Jiang Xiao had caught her boyfriend cheating. She wanted nothing more than to rush up and slap that mistress a few times.
Fortunately, Li Gu's loud voice kept Jiang Xiao calm.
She looked around and, seeing no one nearby and that her friend Yu Qiu was nowhere to be found, she steeled herself, picked up her phone, and snapped several photos of Lin Zeyang and the actress.
Unfortunately, she was too far away to get a clear picture of the woman's face, and even Lin Zeyang's face was somewhat blurry.
However, just by looking at his figure, clothing, hairstyle and expression, it is easy to recognize that the man is Lin Zeyang.
Rong Rong and Lin Zeyang were having a great time, and the rest of the crew was used to it. Who in the crew hadn't been so attentive to the goddess? Some even cast envious glances at Lin Zeyang.
When Lin Zeyang once again scooped up a small cake and brought it to her lips, Rong Rong opened her mouth wide.
"Rong Rong." A familiar and magnetic male voice suddenly rang out.
Rong Rong froze, closed her mouth, blinked, and after a few seconds, seeing that nothing had happened, she opened her mouth wide in relief, "Ah!"
"Rong Rong." This time it was a sigh, tinged with a hint of anger.
Rong Rong immediately turned around and saw that Shang Feng was standing behind her at some point.
He remained composed, but his gaze was deep and unfathomable, calm yet exuding a strong sense of danger.
Instinctively, Rong Rong immediately stood up and rushed into Shang Feng's arms, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.
Why are you only arriving now?
Her accusatory tone made it sound as if Shang Feng was the one who had done something wrong, blaming the other party for not coming to find her sooner.
Such a tone of voice and mannerisms are very much in line with the original owner's personality, except that one of them acts out as a spoiled and unreasonable person, while the other acts out as a charming and coquettish person.
Shang Feng didn't move, his body was straight, and when I hugged him, he was cold, hard, and even a little rough.
His gaze was like that of an eagle, shooting straight at Lin Zeyang behind Rong Rong. Lin Zeyang slowly stood up and returned the gaze without showing any weakness.
It was as if firelight crackled between the two of them, the air froze, and a chill spread.
Zhang Yun, the agent who followed Shang Feng into the film crew at the same time, quickly stepped forward, grabbed Lin Zeyang's arm, and pulled him to the side.
Lin Zeyang stood still, while Zhang Yun gritted his teeth, "Don't you want to work here anymore?"
