"Okay, then you can go now, class is about to start." Ye Jiu waved her hand, signaling him to leave quickly.
But this person seemed unable to understand Ye Jiu's subtext and refused to leave.
Ger picked up his book. "Do you have time tonight? I'd like to treat you to dinner as a way of thanking you."
If Ye Jiu still can't figure out what he means now, then she's really not smart.
Ye Jiu gave a fake smile and said, "Let's forget it, haha. If you had spent that much time studying, you would have learned this knowledge point long ago."
Ger stopped her, "Give me a chance, it's just a meal, it's on me."
Unable to bear it any longer, Lorien stood up abruptly and stepped between him and Ye Jiu, blocking Ye Jiu's figure.
"Didn't you hear her say she didn't need it?" Lorian's voice was laced with anger, and cracks appeared in his usually indifferent expression, showing signs of an impending explosion.
Geer was embarrassed and furious, feeling ashamed. "Who do you think you are? What business is it of yours if I talk to her?"
“I’m just protecting my master.” After saying that, Lorian miraculously calmed down, and then added, “I have a duty to protect her.”
Gel sneered, "Just a dog, yet it thinks it's something." With that, he reached out to grab Ye Jiu's wrist.
Lorian reacted swiftly, grabbing his collar and lifting him up. "Try doing that again?"
Lorian, standing at 1.8 meters tall, lifted Ger off the ground with ease, as if he were a chick.
After struggling in vain, Ger looked at Lorian with fear in his eyes. He smiled ingratiatingly and said, "Just kidding, just kidding. Put me down first."
Lorian not only didn't let go, but pulled it up a little more. "Apologize to her."
Geer nodded like a chick pecking at rice, "Okay, okay, I apologize, I apologize."
Lorian released his grip, and Ger sat down abruptly, bracing himself with his hands as he took a few steps back. He swallowed hard, then scrambled to his feet and walked over to Ye Jiu, stammering an apology, "I'm sorry, I disturbed you."
Lorien straightened the wrinkles on his cuffs and said casually, "Speak louder."
Geer couldn't help but take a few steps back. "I'm sorry! I shouldn't have forced you to have dinner with me, and I shouldn't have bothered you!"
Ye Jiu glanced at Lorian, then at the tense Geer, and said, "Fine, if I ever see you harassing other women like this again, I'll cripple you. Don't doubt my strength; after all, I'm the top student at Celt Magic Academy. I have plenty of ways to make you die silently."
Ger looked horrified; it was actually a man-eating flower! He felt a chill run down his spine and immediately ran out of the classroom.
From the moment Luo Rui'an stood in front of Ye Jiu, Ye Jiu was stunned, and what followed left her even more bewildered.
She nudged Lorian with her elbow. "Thanks, but if you don't come over, I'll have to resort to force."
"A terrible and cowardly man." Ye Jiu commented on Ger. After saying that, Ye Jiu looked Luo Rui'an up and down, becoming more and more satisfied. She hadn't raised Luo Rui'an to be like this. Not bad, not bad.
Ye Jiu's scrutinizing gaze made Luo Ruian involuntarily tense up, afraid that she would show the slightest dissatisfaction.
Seeing Ye Jiu smile, Luo Ruian also smiled. Fortunately, she was not disappointed in him.
Lorian changed his mind; he no longer intended to kill Gel, for Gel's existence only served to highlight his own excellence.
Luo Rui'an feigned indifference and casually asked, "What's wrong? Why are you looking at me all of a sudden?"
Ye Jiu shrugged. "I marvel at the diversity of species. You're also a man, but you're so much better than him. I'm glad you didn't become like him."
Lorian didn't respond; he didn't know what to say, and the atmosphere between them became awkward.
Ye Jiu suddenly remembered what Lorian had just said, something about her being my master... Ye Jiu awkwardly scratched her face, "Well, I wouldn't call myself your master. I was just a temporary measure to take you with me when I went to Celtic Magic Academy. You are an independent person and don't belong to anyone."
Lorian was somewhat hurt; had he been rejected?
"Can't I let you be my master?" Lorian said softly, "Or... let me be your dog."
Ye Jiu was stunned. "Why would you have such a thought?"
Is she a hidden dog training master? (Picking up a villain and getting a dog ×)
She continued, "You're almost an adult, and one day you'll part ways with me, meet new people, and experience new things. Why... want to be my dog?"
If Lorian had ears, they would have collapsed immediately. "I...why should I separate from you? Does my existence bother you?"
"No, people always grow up and their thoughts change." Ye Jiu patted his shoulder. "Besides, it's good to go see other cities. I heard that the main city of the merfolk, Vestalia, has a beautiful underwater city. It would be good for you to go and see it."
"Can't we be together?" Lorian slumped down. "Do you hate me now?"
His tears fell silently. He was about to come of age, and once he did, he would need to feed on desire. He had read many books, asked many people, and thought for a long time. He might be a hybrid succubus who could only feed on the desire of one person. And that person was undoubtedly Ye Jiu.
If Ye Jiu doesn't want him, then he's basically sentenced to death.
But he wanted to know more about what he had done wrong, something he could change. He didn't know if Ye Jiu loved him, but that didn't matter; he knew he loved her, and that was enough.
He just wanted to be by her side forever, always and always.
If he were to starve to death in the future, he would make sure to die not far from the El Forest. He didn't want to defile Ye Jiu's forest, but he also didn't want to be too far away from it. There were too many beautiful memories of him and her there, and he didn't want to forget them or leave.
