Chapter 147 Picking Up the Little Succubus 7

"Hmm? There will be tests at the start of the semester, and I hope you can surprise me. By the way, my name is Aurora Harrington, and I look forward to seeing you at Celt Magic Academy."

Aurora paused for a moment before continuing, "By the way, I'm a potion instructor at Celt Magic Academy. I'm not very good at interacting with people. I didn't mean any harm when I said that. I'm sorry you misunderstood."

Then she waved to the man in the shop who seemed to be the owner, and he came over happily.

"As an apology, this shop is yours. Sonny, remember this well, this is your future boss."

What happened next completely exceeded Ye Jiu's expectations. Huh? Ah!

Sunny looked like a shrewd businessman. He went back and took out a magic scroll. Aurora skillfully signed her name on it. "This is a shop transfer scroll. As long as you write your name, this shop that originally belonged to me will belong to you. The information on the scroll will be synchronized to the Ascaria Merchant Guild immediately, and everyone will know that this shop now belongs to you."

It sounded like an extremely convenient one-click transfer contract, but Ye Jiu hesitated, feeling like it might be a scam.

Seeing Ye Jiu's hesitation, Sonny said, "Harrington is the richest family in Ascaria City. You can rest assured that the young lady is a woman of her word and will not go back on her word."

Ye Jiu gasped, as if she had offended someone extremely powerful.

Aurora handed the scroll to Ye Jiu, saying, "There's no need to hesitate; this is an apology."

Sonny nodded in agreement.

Ye Jiu glanced at Aurora, then at the scroll in her hand, took it, and signed her name.

She apologized for her previous offense; she was wrong, this was the God of Wealth!

After signing the scroll, Sonny bowed to Ye Jiu and said, "Miss Ye Jiu, starting next month, the profits from this shop will be delivered to you."

Seeing how skilled he was, Ye Jiu couldn't help but ask, "Do you...do you do this often?"

Sunny paused to acknowledge what she was saying, then replied, "The young lady does indeed often give away shops. This is probably because she's not good at socializing and often offends people, so the shops are used as apologies. However, the Harrington family can certainly afford to support such a niche hobby of hers."

Ye Jiu hesitated, then said, "Hmm...yes, it is indeed quite niche."

In a very hasty manner, Ye Jiu actually acquired this herbal medicine shop.

"May I ask which element you have an affinity for?"

"Any five will do." Ye Jiu grinned. "You're asking me this? I'm not sleepy anymore."

Aurora was taken aback. "Then you certainly have reason to be proud. Is this your first time in Ascaria?"

"Yeah, I came here to browse around, and then I'll go to the academy later."

"Oh, I see. Have you found a place to stay? If you don't mind, you can come to my house. I'm very interested in your magical talent." Aurora smiled gently. "You must also be very talented in potions."

Ye Jiu tactically covered her mouth, "Well... I only blew up a few dozen crucibles."

She managed to say with difficulty, "I guess...."

Aurora didn't delve into her answer, her gaze fixed on Lorian standing behind Ye Jiu.

Her eyes held a hint of inquiry as she asked ambiguously, "Is this what you're taking to school?"

"Yes, his name is Lorian, and he's with me."

Aurora nodded. "It's normal for him to be playful at his young age, but he should focus more on magic and potions."

After saying that, she lifted her skirt and walked out. "I'm going to browse the best herbal medicine shop in town. Do you want to come with me?"

Before Ye Jiu could react to the meaning of her words, her eyes lit up when she heard the words "the best herbal medicine shop," and she immediately caught up with her.

"Go! Of course I'll go! Um... can I call you teacher? Anyway, I'll be starting school soon."

Aurora nodded with a smile, "Of course, let's go, take your... little servant with you."

Unlike magic, which requires specific incantations to cast, potions only require mastering the correct proportions of different herbs and adding a little auxiliary magic to create the potions you need that aren't written in books.

Creating magic is much more difficult than creating potions. After all, there are so many spells, and no one can guarantee what strange things will come out when they are randomly combined.

Therefore, Ye Jiu's liking for potions is greater than her liking for magic.

After all, with a big enough imagination, any kind of bizarre magic potion is possible.

Lorian obediently followed behind Ye Jiu, not bothered by Aurora calling him her little servant, since she had said he belonged to Ye Jiu.

This gave him a secret thrill, as if once he entered the Celt Magic Academy, everyone would know that he was Ye Jiu.

The sheer amount of satisfaction he felt was enough to make him dizzy just thinking about it.

——

Follow Aurora all the way until you enter a hidden alley and stop in front of a shop. The shop is ordinary and even looks a bit old and run-down.

"Teacher, are you sure we haven't gone to the wrong place?" Ye Jiu couldn't believe that this was actually the best herbal shop in Ascaria. It was the complete opposite of what she had just seen. She never thought that there would be such a place in this city.

"No, come inside with me and you'll see."

Aurora pushed open the door and entered, followed closely by Ye Jiu and Lorian.

The shop was indeed a hidden gem. It looked dilapidated on the outside, but inside it was magnificent and quite large. The interior was kept bright by lighting magic, and the herbs were displayed on wooden shelves, emitting a unique fragrance that blended wood and herbs.

Ye Jiu felt refreshed after smelling it.
