Yue Jinyun lowered her head and replied to Chu Qingxuan dejectedly.
Chu Qingxuan smiled faintly, offered Yue Jinyun a few words of comfort, and then left the Fourth Prince's residence.
Peony didn't come with Chu Qingxuan today, so Chu Qingxuan had to take the carriage back alone. Just as she sat down, a figure lifted the curtain and sat in.
Chu Qingxuan frowned. The man fanned himself with a fan, creating a cool breeze, and smiled as he looked at Chu Qingxuan.
"Miss Qingxuan," he said softly.
Chu Qingxuan could roughly guess the man's identity. He was dressed in luxurious clothes, unlike an ordinary person. Coupled with his demeanor, Chu Qingxuan was even more certain that this man was either rich or noble.
Moreover, very few people know who she is.
She came to the Fourth Prince's residence to teach Yue Jinyun, and to outsiders, she was only known as a zither player.
This was the only person she had never met before, yet she knew her name instantly.
It must be someone who investigated her.
Chu Qingxuan remained indifferent as she asked the uninvited man, "Who are you?"
"Who I am is not important. I have something I would like to ask Miss Qingxuan for help with."

The man chuckled softly and closed his fan.
"Miss Qingxuan is mistaken. I'm afraid only you can help me with this matter."
Chu Qingxuan frowned. "Not interested."
It doesn't sound like a good thing at all.
The man wasn't angry when Chu Qingxuan rejected him; he just said with some regret, "That is indeed a pity. Since Miss Qingxuan has refused, then we'll meet again someday."
After saying that, the man left Chu Qingxuan's carriage.
Chu Qingxuan stared thoughtfully at the carriage curtain, feeling that this matter wouldn't end so simply.
"Driver, let's go back."
"Okay, young lady."
On the way back, Chu Qingxuan kept thinking about the man who had just appeared, feeling uneasy and unable to calm down.
Back at the Hundred Flowers Pavilion, Chu Qingxuan understood the reason for her unease.
As she stepped into the Hundred Flowers Pavilion, an officer approached her and asked, "Are you Miss Qingxuan?"
Chu Qingxuan nodded slightly, "Yes."
The officer sneered and then said, "Take him away."
Chu Qingxuan took a step back, but was still grabbed by the two soldiers. She sneered and looked up at the officer.
"Sir, if you're going to arrest me, you should at least give me a reason."
"Is it acceptable to charge someone with the crime of plotting to murder the future princess consort?"
Chu Qingxuan frowned. She only knew one future princess consort. Could it be that something had happened to Yue Jinyun?
Seeing Chu Qingxuan remain silent, the officer ordered, "Take her away!"
As they were being led away from the Hundred Flowers Pavilion, Chu Qingxuan remained silent throughout. In the distance, she seemed to vaguely see Peony in the crowd.
When she looked closely, she couldn't find any peony in the crowd.
When Chu Qingxuan left Baihualou, she saw Liu Mama. Liu Mama's expression was not good, or rather, there was a hint of reluctance on her face.
She must have seen it wrong.
Chu Qingxuan was taken to the Fourth Prince's residence and forced to kneel on the ground. Enduring the humiliation, Chu Qingxuan stubbornly looked up at Long Yao sitting in the main hall and Dongfang Hao beside him.
Chu Qingxuan clenched her fists, her eyes shifting from Long Yao to Dongfang Hao.
Suddenly, Chu Qingxuan smiled.
