I won't get married 36

Because there were only two people, Jiang Lusheng didn't cook too much. There were only four dishes and one soup, but the portions were not very big. They included sweet and sour pork ribs, Kung Pao chicken, Mapo tofu, dry pot seasonal vegetables and vegetarian stew.

The dishes are all quite rich in flavor and are perfect with a bowl of vegetarian soup.

"Wash your hands, it's time to eat." Jiang Lusheng waved to Lan Shuang. Lan Shuang immediately got up from the sofa and went to wash her hands. After coming out, she sat at the table, looking at him eagerly.

“It looks delicious.”

It smells nice and looks beautiful.

"Try it."

Jiang Lusheng picked up the chopsticks, picked up a piece of pork ribs and fed it to Lan Shuang's lips. Lan Shuang looked down, opened her lips and bit the pork ribs. With a light bite, the pork ribs fell off the bones by themselves. They were stewed very soft and the soup completely soaked them. With one bite, the mellow aroma of the meat and the sweet and sour taste danced on the tip of the tongue. It was so delicious that Lan Shuang narrowed her eyes.

She spat the bones into the prepared empty bowl and gave Jiang Lusheng a thumbs up: "Chef Jiang!"

Jiang Lusheng laughed, took off his apron, sat down at the table and looked at her: "Is it so delicious?"

"It's really delicious! Can't you tell the difference yourself?" Lan Shuang asked herself, answering, "Oh, maybe you're just used to eating your own food and can't tell the difference. But it's really delicious. You could open a shop and have a very prosperous business!"

She wiped her hands, patted Jiang Lusheng's shoulder and said, "Boss Jiang, if the company goes bankrupt one day, you don't have to worry about starving to death. Just become a chef and you'll earn enough money in a year. In two years, you can open your own restaurant, and in three years, you can directly chain it. Then you will become a rising star in the catering industry!"

Jiang Lusheng was amused by her description and thought that it was actually feasible.

He smiled and took another piece of tofu with his chopsticks and stuffed it into Lan Shuang's mouth: "Eat it, aren't you starving?"

"Oh, okay." Lan Shuang swallowed the tofu, which was a bit spicy. She lowered her head and picked up the chopsticks to pick up the rice, but out of the corner of her eye she saw Jiang Lusheng eating with the chopsticks he had used to feed her.

Lan Shuang: “!”

This man...

Jiang Lusheng saw her looking at him and swallowed his food in confusion: "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"

Lan Shuang shook her head: "Ahem, no."

She lowered her head and pretended nothing had happened and continued eating. Forget it, just use it.

The two of them didn't talk much during the meal. It was quite quiet the whole time. Jiang Lusheng would help Lan Shuang pick up some food from time to time. Lan Shuang didn't pay attention to how much she ate, and finally she was so full that she sat on the chair and couldn't get up.

Jiang Lusheng packed up his things and took them to the kitchen. Lan Shuang struggled to get up and said, "Let me help you?"

Jiang Lusheng raised his hand and pushed her back, "Sit down and digest it well."

"Oh." Lan Shuang sat back down. Jiang Lusheng put the dishes into the dishwasher, washed his hands, took two more cans of wine from the refrigerator and put them on the coffee table, then sat down on the single sofa next to Lan Shuang.

"You can't even walk after you're so stretched out like this, why don't you take a break and watch a movie first?"

Jiang Lusheng looked at Lan Shuang.

Lan Shuang touched her belly and asked, "Well, what are you looking at?"

The sky outside had turned cloudy at some point, and it looked like it was going to rain. Jiang Lusheng thought for a moment and said, "How about watching a horror movie? The atmosphere is just right."

Lan Shuang smiled and said, "Okay, then draw the curtains."

"Um."

Jiang Lusheng took out a remote control from under the coffee table, pressed it, and the curtains in the living room closed automatically.

The room suddenly became dim. Jiang Lusheng turned on a new horror movie released this year, stood up and sat down next to Lan Shuang.

The eerie background and strange and ethereal music instantly created a strong atmosphere. Lan Shuang stared at the screen intently, drinking small sips of wine while watching.

Jiang Lusheng also opened a can for himself and drank it sporadically.

"This special effect is well done." He commented on the fleeting scene. Lan Shuang nodded: "It's okay."

The plot gradually got more exciting. Both of them watched intently and couldn't help holding their breath. The heroine followed the sound in the maze-like old house and soon got stuck in a circular staircase.

Jiang Lusheng watched the heroine gradually become crazy and run around. He narrowed his eyes and was about to share his thoughts on the play with Lan Shuang when he felt his shoulders sink.

He turned his head and found Lan Shuang sleeping soundly on his shoulder, holding a pillow in her arms and an empty wine bottle in her hand.

I don't know when I finished drinking it.

Jiang Lusheng suddenly had a thought that she might not be sleepy, but drunk.

He picked up another can on the table and shook it, and it was indeed empty. She had unknowingly drunk three cans of 8-proof liquor, including the first one.

"Heh, little drunkard, you dare to drink so much even though you have such a low alcohol tolerance."

He drank the can in his hand and put it on the coffee table, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. He took the empty can from Lan Shuang and called her softly, "Tiantian?"

Lan Shuang did not react, and her loosely tied hair came loose, with part of it falling to the side of her face.

Just as the heroine in the movie was about to see a ghost and was about to mouth the words to scream, Jiang Lusheng quickly pressed the mute button.

The heroine performed a pantomime...

Heaving a sigh of relief, Jiang Lusheng changed his posture and sat more relaxed, then let Lan Shuang slowly fall on his thighs. Seeing that she frowned and seemed to be waking up, he patted her back gently and hummed a song softly.

His voice was low and gentle, very suitable for such weather. Suddenly there was a knocking sound outside the window, and it was a heavy rain that had arrived as expected.

The weather suddenly turned cooler, and Lan Shuang instinctively went towards a warm place, slowly snuggling into Jiang Lusheng's arms.

Jiang Lusheng obviously didn't drink much, but he felt drunk. He leaned back on the sofa and slowly closed his eyes.

The heavy rain in the afternoon came and went quickly. When the sun came out and the temperature rose, Lan Shuang opened her eyes in a daze and found that all she saw was white. Before she could wake up, she suspected that her eyes were sick. It took her a while to realize that it was Jiang Lusheng's clothes.

"Um?"

She looked up blankly, wondering when she had fallen asleep in Jiang Lusheng's arms?

Jiang Lusheng seemed to be still asleep, with his head tilted back, eyes closed, and breathing evenly.

Lan Shuang didn't move either. She slept so well that she felt lazy and had no energy.

However, after lying there for a while, she found that something had changed that could not be ignored.

Lan Shuang: “…”

She glanced and quickly looked away, trying to get up with her hand on the sofa. However, as soon as she stood up from her knees, someone grabbed the hand that was on the sofa, and held her ten fingers together forcefully, and then lifted it up. Lan Shuang lost her balance and fell directly on Jiang Lusheng.

Jiang Lusheng still didn't open his eyes, but a vague laugh came out of his throat.

Lan Shuang: "Tsk, are you pretending to sleep?"

The smile on Jiang Lusheng's lips became even more intense: "No, I'm not awake yet."
