Lan Shuang ignored her and walked straight to the bed with the sword in hand. Los followed her. The others stood where they were without moving or making a sound to disturb the doctor.
The queen saw that Los had also gone over, and she was still frightened by the last time she was controlled by him. She immediately reached out to stop him: "What do you want to do?"
Could it be that he wanted to assassinate the king and let Lan Shuang succeed to the throne?
The more she thought about it, the more possible it seemed. There was something wrong with the way the queen looked at Los.
Ross glanced at her hand, then looked at the queen, too lazy to say anything. He took a step sideways to move forward, but the queen was relentless. "Stop! Are you trying to use magic to harm His Majesty? I know you can do magic, and you're not an ordinary person. If you take advantage of the opportunity to attack us, we won't be able to see it, right?"
She yelled loudly, and everyone present except Lan Shuang's expression changed.
Because of the incident with the previous queen, the king has always been very secretive about magic, and his attitude towards magicians has been lukewarm, which has made the status of magicians very embarrassing for a time.
But now this mysterious man next to the eldest princess is actually a magician?
Seeing that everyone was silent, the queen regained her confidence and calmly analyzed: "Lan Shuang, do you want to explain why you brought a magician here at this time?"
"Queen, please don't turn the tables. If I wanted to harm Your Majesty, I would have had plenty of opportunities. Why would I have waited until now?"
Lan Shuang chuckled and said to Luo Si: "Since the queen is so scared, then don't come over. I can do it myself."
Los nodded and turned back to a safe distance.
The queen looked at him with fear and looked at Lan Shuang with suspicion.
Ke Lan Shuang ignored her and asked the doctor, "How is it? When will His Majesty wake up? What's wrong?"
The doctor said carefully, "Your Majesty is suffering from a heart attack caused by anxiety, coupled with recent excessive fatigue and mood swings. That's why he couldn't catch his breath and passed out. We can't guarantee that he will wake up."
Lan Shuang nodded: "Go get some medicine, the kind that can regulate the body. His Majesty needs to replenish his body."
"Yes." The doctors went aside to discuss countermeasures. Lan Shuang took advantage of everyone's inattention and, using the cover of her sleeves, moved her fingers slightly. A ray of light golden magic power circled around the king's wrist and penetrated into his skin.
"Host, what are you doing?" 888 was from Lan Shuang's perspective the whole time, so he could see her little movements clearly.
Lan Shuang said, "This is a healing magic that can quickly sober people up. Because it's so useless, it's rarely used. But during the years the late queen lived alone in the attic, she diligently studied it and learned a lot of strange and bizarre things, which she taught the original owner."
"I see," 888 exclaimed. "I didn't expect it would actually come in handy. So there's no such thing as useless knowledge."
Lan Shuang agreed and said, "Well, yes."
The healing magic took effect quickly after entering the king's body. Within almost two minutes, the king's eyeballs under his eyelids began to move rapidly.
Lan Shuang deliberately called out, "Doctor, His Majesty is moving. Is he about to wake up?"
The doctors immediately gathered around the bed, and more than a dozen eyes were staring at the king's face.
The king raised his eyelashes tremblingly and saw such a horrifying scene. For a moment he suspected that his soul had left his body.
He opened his eyes wide and took a deep breath, but before he could catch his breath, he choked on his saliva and started coughing violently.
"Cough cough cough cough cough——"
"Your Majesty, calm down!"
"Your body can't handle the stress right now. It's better to stay calm. Nothing is more important than your health."
The doctors rushed forward and tried to comfort the king.
king:"……"
I was just scared by you, and you still have the nerve to say that? Stay away from me!
He was speechless and could only stretch out his arms and dig around.
Lan Shuang was trying so hard to hold back her laughter that it hurt inside. She coughed lightly and spoke for the king: "Everyone, spread out a little. The king doesn't know who to answer to when he sees so many people."
The doctors realized they were too excited and stepped back, allowing Lan Shuang to step forward. "Your Majesty, are you feeling better?"
Hearing her voice, the king finally calmed down. He struggled to sit up. Lan Shuang raised her hand to support him and let him sit against the head of the bed.
"alright."
The king nodded. "I feel much better, but my chest is still tight."
"That's because I'm still angry."
The doctor said, "Your Majesty, no matter what happens, you must be more open-minded. You are in a very weak state and overly tired, so it is easy for multiple illnesses to flare up at once."
Hearing him say this, the king sighed and said, "I understand."
"Your Majesty—" The Queen rushed to the bedside and said with tears in her eyes, "You frightened me."
king:"……"
He looked at the queen's still beautiful face, feeling both love and hate.
"You guys go out first—"
The king waved to the doctors, who gave him a few more instructions and then left obediently.
Seeing this, the ministers stepped forward and stood there in silence without saying a word.
The king glanced at everyone in the room, and finally his eyes fell on Lan Sisi. He said softly, "Sisi, go back too."
Lan Sisi was stunned, not understanding why so many people only asked her to go back.
Lan Shuang glanced at her and said, "Sister, you really should go back. There are some things I don't want to tell you."
She looked at the queen meaningfully, and Lan Sisi instantly realized what Lan Shuang had just said about the Duxilun family. She glanced at the king and queen dejectedly, nodded, and said, "Yes, my daughter is leaving first. Take care, father."
