Don't Lick Me 7

Lan Shuang packed the medicine box and placed it under the coffee table. She turned around and sat down next to Ning Yufeng, looking as if she wanted to have a long talk with him.

Ning Yufeng's gaze fell on the distance between the two people's legs.

She really does like me, right? She's so close to me.

"Ning Yufeng."

"Yeah." Ning Yufeng responded lazily, and suddenly felt that his name was quite nice.

"Do you know what year it is now?"

"have no idea."

Lan Shuang turned over the calendar on the coffee table and showed it to him: "It is now 20xx. It is the modern era with rapid technological development. It is no longer the ancient times with abundant spiritual energy. The demon race has declined, the immortal path has collapsed, and the heavens have collapsed. Only the ghost world and the human world are still connected. Now it is the world of the human race."

Ning Yufeng raised his eyebrows in dissatisfaction: "These useless monsters actually let a bunch of mortals step on their heads?"

"Don't look down on mortals! Racial discrimination is a crime!" Lan Shuang quickly corrected him. "The fact that humans and demons can survive to this day is the result of natural selection. The rapid development of humanity has also provided great convenience for the demon race. As a demon, if you want to live a good life in this world, you must not cause trouble for humans and you must not cry out for war and killing all day long. Otherwise, you will be punished by law..."

Lan Shuang spent an hour telling Ning Yufeng in a vivid and emotional way about the current situation and basic rules of the world, the importance of laws, and what would happen if the demons broke the law.

The more Ning Yufeng listened, the darker his face became, and in the end, it looked like the bottom of a pot that had been used for three years.

"It's so troublesome. Humans always have so many rules. Enemies can be killed, but there are still many trials. What's the point of locking them up?"

Lan Shuang's mouth was dry from talking. She went to the refrigerator and took out two bottles of mineral water. She handed one to Ning Yufeng and drank half of it in one gulp before she said weakly, "Because the law is the bottom line of morality, it takes a combination of leniency and severity to convince the public. Some people are not particularly evil, but if they make mistakes and go into prison to reflect, we can give them a chance to reform. This way, they won't do anything too extreme in the first place."

She slumped back onto the sofa, looked up at the ceiling, and muttered to herself, "The law protects and constrains the majority of people. Achieving fairness and justice on a large scale is already very difficult. If you truly commit an unforgivable crime, you will still die."

Ning Yufeng listened and thought for a moment, "What you said does make some sense."

"Anyway, as long as you listen to me, ask me if you're not sure. Don't act on your own. Once you've gotten used to life in the human world, I'll let you move around on your own."

After all this trouble, Lan Shuang was still a little tired. She stood up, yawned, and pointed to the room opposite and said, "I'll clean up the guest room for you later. You can stay there. I'm in the room opposite you. Just knock on the door if you need anything."

Seeing her slippers on, Ning Yufeng also stood up and followed her. As soon as the door of the guest room opened, a strange smell hit him. Ning Yufeng's eyes suddenly turned cold, "Who lived in this room before?"

Lan Shuang paused as she opened the door, "Ah...it's a human."

Ning Yufeng sneered, leaning against the door with his arms folded and looking down at her, "Is he a man?"

"We're enemies now."

Lan Shuang shrugged nonchalantly, "I ended up like that because of him."

"Him? Who is he?"

Ning Yufeng felt even worse.

Lan Shuang went in and took off the sheets and pillowcases and threw them on the floor. Ling Feng's coat was still on the bedside table.

"His name is Ling Feng, and he's a member of the Ling family who's been living away from home."

Lan Shuang grabbed her coat and threw it out the door. She thought it was unlucky just by looking at it.

Ning Yufeng raised his eyebrows: "Ling Feng? Ha, is he worthy of using the word 'feng'?"

Lan Shuang paused, "Oh, yes, your name also has the word 'feng' in it, what a coincidence."

"If he falls into my hands one day, this name will be gone."

Ning Yufeng's eyes flashed with undisguised murderous intent as he stared at Lan Shuang closely.

He was testing, he wanted to know what the relationship between Ling Feng and Lan Shuang was.

However, to his surprise, Lan Shuang actually laughed while hugging the sheet, with a fierce look in her eyes, "I can't die."

Ning Yufeng's tone was dangerous, "You can't bear to do it?"

"I hope he falls into a pit as soon as he goes out tomorrow, but his life is not over yet. He can't die in our hands, otherwise it will ruin our merits. This deal is not worth it."

Lan Shuang said this as she threw all the sheets and other things out the door. She turned around and took out new sheets and quilt covers from the closet and spread them out. After smoothing out the wrinkles, she looked back and smiled, but the smile did not reach her eyes.

"I will get back everything he owes me, but not now." Lan Shuang yawned again. "I'm very sleepy and need to take a shower and go to bed. I've changed your things and will take you out to buy clothes tonight. There are also some small cakes and fruits I made in the refrigerator. If you're hungry, you can eat them first."

As she spoke, Lan Shuang walked past Ning Yufeng, kicked the sheets aside, and used her magic power to transfer them into the washing machine.

Just as she clapped her hands and prepared to leave, someone suddenly grabbed the collar of her clothes from behind, and Lan Shuang immediately shrank her neck.

Lan Shuang: “???”

"What are you doing?"

She turned her head and tried to look at Ning Yufeng. Ning Yufeng came closer and smiled and said in her ear: "Good girl."

Lan Shuang: "...I am eighteen years old as a human, and four hundred and thirty-two years old as a demon!"

Ning Yufeng rubbed her smooth long hair and said, "Oh, I'm three thousand two hundred and one."

Lan Shuang: “…”

End of chat, goodbye.

"From now on, don't get too close to other men. You are my cat now."

Ning Yufeng loosened her collar and pinched the back of her neck. Lan Shuang froze instantly. "When did this happen? How come I don't know about it?"

"I know, that's all. I don't like the smell of other men on you. I won't bother with you this time, but next time if you let another man get close to you..."

Ning Yufeng threatened but with a smile.

Lan Shuang asked back: "How?"

"I'll scent you all over."

Lan Shuang was stunned for a moment, then her whole body turned red when she realized what was happening.

"Ning Yufeng, get in—"

Ning Yufeng laughed softly. Seeing that Lan Shuang was furious, he decided to stop while he was ahead and turned around and lazily walked into his room.

Lan Shuang slammed the door shut with her backhand and gritted her teeth.

888 was puzzled: "Host, why are you reacting so strongly? Is there something wrong with what he said?"

Lan Shuang rubbed her arms and said, "Do you know what Cat's favorite thing to do is?"

888 was confused: "I don't know."

"Licking fur! This guy wants me to have his scent all over my fur. Just thinking about that scene makes my scalp tingle, okay?"

888: "...Well, a little perverted."

"Don't even think about it! There's no way he'll lick my fur. I'm a living being and I will never succumb to his tyranny!" Lan Shuang clenched her fists and set a flag.
