Chapter 211 Cold-Blooded Young Marshal 25

Chapter 211 Cold-Blooded Young Marshal 25

The market in Jicheng was not as lively and bustling as that in Lucheng.

Xu Qiuqiu was very happy to visit a market from the Republican era for the first time. The surrounding buildings were old and dilapidated, unlike the modern high-rise buildings.

Ling Jiazhen followed her closely, her gaze fixed on her.

Xu Qiuqiu saw a row of fortune tellers not far ahead. She was a little curious: were the fortune tellers of this era more accurate than those of modern times?

She took Ling Jiazhen's arm and said, "Jiazhen, shall we go over there and do some calculations?"

Ling Jiazhen looked at her with doting eyes, "Okay, I'll do whatever you say."

Xu Qiuqiu walked to the fortune teller at the front. He was probably in his fifties, wearing black sunglasses and a blue long gown. There was a small table in front of him with incomprehensible runes and numbers on it.

The fortune teller seemed to hear footsteps. He slightly raised his head and asked, "What would you two distinguished guests like to know?"

Xu Qiuqiu thought for a moment, looked up at Ling Jiazhen, and then said to the fortune teller, "Tell me about our marriage."

Ah Zhen must have a strong connection with her, right? They seem to meet in every dimension.

Ling Jiazhen smiled and patted her hair, feeling secretly pleased. It turned out that Qiuqiu cared about him too.

"Then please have this lady draw a lot." The fortune teller took out the lot-drawing container.

"Okay." Xu Qiuqiu let go of Ling Jiazhen's hand and went to get the divination stick container. She shook it for a long time and finally a stick fell out. She picked up the bamboo stick, glanced at it, and saw that it read: "It was a match made in heaven, but unexpected misunderstandings have occurred. Eventually, the clouds will part and the sun will shine through, and the love between the two will be unwavering."

Xu Qiuqiu held the fortune stick and said happily, "Ah Zhen, it seems to be a good fortune."

Although she didn't understand the meaning of the fortune slip, she was glad that the final result was good.

Seeing her looking like she had such good luck, Ling Jiazhen found it adorable and couldn't help but lean down and kiss her cheek, praising her generously: "Yes, Qiuqiu is great."

Suddenly kissed by him, Xu Qiuqiu's face immediately flushed, and she mumbled shyly, "Azhen, what are you doing in the street..."

The fortune teller coughed twice: "Ahem...may you please read the words on the bamboo slip."

Hearing the fortune teller's words, Xu Qiuqiu's face burned even hotter. She had completely forgotten about the presence of outsiders. But why did she have to read it? Was the fortune teller blind?

But she didn't think much of it, read the words on the bamboo stick aloud, and then asked the fortune teller, "Sir, what is the meaning of the words on this bamboo stick?"

The fortune teller smiled and said, "It's a very auspicious sign. It means that the two of you are destined to be together. There are just some unexpected misunderstandings, but the misunderstandings will eventually be resolved. Your relationship will only get better and better, and you will become a perfect couple."

Upon hearing the interpretation of the divination, Xu Qiuqiu beamed, "Thank you for your kind words, sir."

What does it mean that it was just an accidental misunderstanding?

Ling Jiazhen smiled and gave the fortune teller a few silver dollars, saying, "You're right."

Although it was different from his original plan, the meaning was still good.

He had arranged all the fortune tellers in this row in advance, and all of them had the same auspicious bamboo slips. Although he was a little puzzled as to why this particular fortune teller's bamboo slip was different, he wondered if it was just someone he had randomly brought in to fill the quota, and that he hadn't had time to replace all the bamboo slips yet.

After the two left, the fortune teller took off his sunglasses, revealing cloudy, unfocused eyes; he was truly blind.

He murmured to himself, "I think I've met a real deity."

The other fortune tellers looked at him with envy, thinking they would have a role to play, but the young marshal's wife only looked at one stall and left.

But when did this blind man sneak in?

After getting tired of shopping, Xu Qiuqiu sat back in the car with the snacks in her arms.

Ling Jiazhen leaned close to her ear, bit her earlobe, and gently rubbed her teeth together, asking in a hoarse voice, "Qiuqiu, where else do you want to go? I'll go with you, okay?"

Xu Qiuqiu's ears turned red instantly. His hot breath sprayed on her ears, and the places he licked were incredibly sensitive, causing her to moan involuntarily.

She bit her lip in embarrassment, her voice trembling, "Ah Zhen... there are still people in the car... please don't..."

Hearing her panting, Ling Jiazhen's eyes darkened. She was still so delicate, and she gently comforted her, "It's okay, he's deaf."

"Really...?" Xu Qiuqiu's eyes filled with tears, and her fair skin instantly flushed red.

The soldier in the driver's seat began to tremble. Was the young marshal really trying to make him deaf? He really hadn't heard a thing!

Ling Jiazhen gently coaxed, "Really."

He released her after saying that. He had only wanted to kiss her, but she was so soft and delicate that she inexplicably aroused his desire. If she hadn't reminded him, he would have forgotten that there were other people in the car.

He glanced coldly at the soldier in the driver's seat, feeling annoyed. At that moment, he really wished he could make him deaf.

Sensing the murderous gaze behind him, the soldier was so frightened he almost cried.

Seeing his displeasure, Xu Qiuqiu tugged at his sleeve, "Azhen, let's go back to the manor."

"Okay." Ling Jiazhen suppressed his ruthlessness, pulled her into his arms, and his agitation gradually subsided.

The soldier, relieved to have survived the ordeal, focused on driving.

The car stopped at the gate of the mansion. Ling Jiazhen opened the car door and carried Xu Qiuqiu out of the car.

Xu Qiuqiu exclaimed in surprise and quickly hugged his neck, "What's wrong?"

Ling Jiazhen didn't reply, his face was tense, and everyone who saw him along the way started to be afraid. He carried her back to the bedroom and gently placed her on the bed.

Just as Xu Qiuqiu was about to ask a question, he leaned in and kissed her. He pressed her hand onto the bed, pressed his body tightly against hers, and intertwined his fingers with hers through hers.

Soft lips pressed against hers, gently sucking, the tip of the tongue prying open her lips to savor her sweetness.

She couldn't withstand his passion; her skin began to burn, and her body gradually went limp. She helplessly endured his fiery kisses, and broken moans escaped from between her lips.

Her eyelashes trembled violently.

Ling Jiazhen held her lips in his mouth and said indistinctly, "Qiuqiu, you're so delicate..."

Her body was so soft, her lips were so soft when he kissed her, she smelled so good, and the sounds she made were so beautiful. In short, everything about her made him so infatuated...

Xu Qiuqiu didn't even have the strength to push him away. "Azhen, stop kissing me, I can't take it anymore..."

During the time he imprisoned her in the previous world, they had countless encounters, which has led to her body becoming aroused whenever he kisses her now. She can't control it, and her body goes limp whenever he touches her.

“But I think Qiuqiu likes it too…” Ling Jiazhen bit her soft flesh. “Qiuqiu, are you feeling better now? Does it still hurt?”

(This is just a random interpretation of the fortune stick. I've never actually drawn a fortune stick before, so I had to make it up on the spot. I hope it doesn't feel out of place.)
