Chapter 216 The Ruthless Patriarch 25 (1/2)

Wearing a mask, Pei Mozhi gently placed his long fingers on Zi Xi's waist as he accompanied her into the luxury shopping mall.

How about this bracelet?

Zi Xi stopped in front of a jewelry store, her slender wrist slipping out of her sleeve, gleaming like porcelain under the light.

"It's too plain, it doesn't do you justice."

Pei Mozhi lowered his head slightly, revealing a pair of smiling eyes above his mask.

"This isn't good enough for me? Am I some kind of big shot?"

Zi Xi poked Pei Mozhi's chest.

Recently, Pei Mozhi has become increasingly demanding.

"You're a big shot, but you're still my baby."

Pei Mozhi gently pinched her waist with his fingers.

"Isn't it oily? How much oil did you drink?"

This made Zi Xi roll her eyes and slap away the hand on her waist.

As the two were chatting and laughing, a commotion arose from the fountain plaza in the center of the mall.

"Isn't that Fu Moyan from the Fu family?"

Zi Xi narrowed her eyes and looked over Pei Mozhi's shoulder.

Pei Mozhi turned around and saw a tall, handsome man walking out of a luxury boutique with an elegant woman on his arm.

Fu Moyan, dressed in a dark blue suit, listened attentively to his female companion with a gentle smile on his sharply defined face.

Even from a distance, you could feel the innate nobility about him.

"Baby is watching so intently. The person next to him is his fiancée, the heiress of the Lin Group."

"We just got engaged last month."

Seeing Zi Xi's unwavering gaze, Pei Mozhi's voice suddenly turned cold. He hugged Zi Xi tightly and introduced her to Pei Mozhi, emphasizing the words "fiancée" and "engagement."

"Yes, they are a handsome couple, a perfect match."

Zi Xi keenly sensed the change in Pei Mozhi's emotions, but pretended not to notice.

The real show is still going on over there.

A young woman in a white dress suddenly blocked Fu Moyan and his companion's path.

"Senior Fu? It really is you! I thought I had mistaken you for someone else!"

Jin Yue gasped softly in surprise, unconsciously covering her slightly parted lips with her slender fingers.

She opened her watery almond-shaped eyes wide with feigned surprise, her eyelashes fluttering slightly.

This was certainly not a coincidence; she had run into this senior several times before, both while working part-time at a convenience store and as a hotel room attendant.

I learned about this senior student's name by chance while working part-time in the hotel, and discovered that they were actually alumni of the same school.

After learning more deeply about how he had helped the original owner of this body, a vague yet persistent thought took root in her heart.

Jin Yue had a strange premonition that her connection with this senior Fu would not end with these few chance encounters.

They might become a family in the future.

"Hello."

Fu Moyan, who had no recollection of Jin Yue, was clearly taken aback for a moment, then nodded politely and extended his hand in a distant manner.

He really didn't recognize the plain-looking woman in front of him, who wasn't even a proper bowl of porridge or side dishes.

"Senior, my name is Jin Yue, we go to the same school."

“We met at a school event before, and you even complimented the fruit earrings I donated!”

Jin Yue feigned shyness and withdrew her hand, looking at Fu Moyan.

Ms. Lin, the fiancée, frowned slightly, but quickly regained her composure with a smile.

"I'm sorry, I don't remember. Is there anything I can help you with, Miss Jin?"

Fu Moyan only lightly touched Jin Yue's fingertips before withdrawing his hand.
