Chapter 370 The Secluded Young Master 4 (2/2)

Then, with his amazing talent, he copied everything about her onto the canvas.

But Zi Xi didn't actually feel any negative emotions like fear or apprehension.

She herself didn't understand why she wasn't disgusted by this behavior.

It's like encountering a college student outside who's drawing portraits for free, and getting a bunch of self-portraits for free.

Zi Xi turned around and looked at Gu Yanqing standing at the door.

He stood there quietly, observing her reaction, his eyes as pure as clear water, completely unaware of how uncomfortable his behavior was.

"Did you draw all of these?"

Zi Xi asked the question knowing the answer already.

Gu Yanqing nodded slightly and walked to a painting.

The painting depicts her taking a short rest under the shade of a tree one day, with her eyes closed.

Beside her was another man, who reached out his finger and gently stroked her forehead.

The painting evoked a flash of appreciation in Zi Xi's eyes.

This kid has a good imagination; the drawing makes it look like they actually did those actions.

She continued to look around the room.

In addition to the paintings on the walls, there are several easels in the center of the room with unfinished works on them.

There were thick sketchbooks piled up in the corner. She randomly opened one and found it full of her half-body close-up exercises from various angles.

On the innermost wall of the room, she saw the most stunning series of works.

Those were scenes that Gu Yanqing imagined, centered around her.

She stood on the balcony in a gorgeous dress, sat in the garden drinking tea, wearing a cheongsam, a princess dress, and all sorts of other gorgeous clothes.

In this world created by Gu Yanqing, she lives all sorts of different lives.

This shows that Gu Yanqing is very talented.

He wasn't just copying images; he was capturing the essence and emotions she herself hadn't even noticed.

"Why?"

Why draw me?

Zi Xi admired it for a long time, then turned to Gu Yanqing and asked curiously.

Gu Yanqing tilted her head, seemingly not understanding the question.

He walked to another painting, in which Zixi was smiling—a genuine smile she wore one day when she received an extra tip.

"I'm very happy."

Gu Yanqing pointed to the smile in the painting, then pointed to the real her.

Are you happy?

Zi Xi raised an eyebrow and looked at him.

Her gaze finally settled on the only window in the room.

That was the second-floor window from which she felt she was being watched every time she delivered food.

There was even a high-powered telescope placed in front of the window, with many sketchbooks scattered around it.

It was quite impressive; they used every tool imaginable to paint her.

Gu Yanqing's expression changed instantly; he was naturally very happy.

He took a step forward and pulled her back again.

Zi Xi looked at his hands; he was beautiful, and his hands were beautiful too.

"Although, I really have to go."

Zi Xi glanced at her phone; an hour had already passed.

She gently put his hand down and moved resolutely toward the door.

Gu Yanqing stopped in her tracks, her eyes dimming.

He looked at the painting on the wall, then at Zi Xi who was about to leave. His lips moved, but he ultimately said nothing.

Zi Xi practically fled the room and ran out of the Gu residence.

She didn't dare to look back until she had ridden the electric scooter and driven some distance away.

The main problem is that if she doesn't leave soon, she won't want to leave anymore.

He looked like a delicate, beautiful young man; he was incredibly alluring.

She was really afraid that she wouldn't have enough self-control and would go and make a fuss with others.

That night, Zixi couldn't sleep.

She lay in bed, the images constantly flashing before her eyes.

Zi Xi was awakened by the birdsong outside the window.
