With a crackling sound, the communication signal suddenly flickered violently, and the last image froze on people wearing First Army uniforms filing out, with the leader's gleaming military boots stepping on her father's back.

The leader looked up, smiled, and met Ai Qingyan's gaze.

His voice was as calm as if he were reading a death sentence, and he looked at the person opposite him with unwavering composure.

Ai Qingyan's pupils suddenly contracted to the size of pinpoints, her fingertips dug tightly into her palms, her nails carving several deep red crescents into her skin.
Her breathing was rapid, her chest heaving violently, and the cold light of the holographic projection reflected on her pale face, making her look particularly ferocious.
"Why?! I didn't do anything, why should I be expelled from school?!"
"I got into the college on my own merit! What right do you have to make me drop out?!"
"And you actually want me to drop out of school for a woman?!"
Her voice was so sharp it was almost distorted, a low growl bordering on hysteria.

But the man on the other side of the screen remained unchanged, not even a tremor in his eyelashes.

But his gaze wasn't that of someone looking at a living person; rather, it was as if he were assessing a faulty item that needed cleaning. There was no disgust or anger, only a mechanical scrutiny.
The gray-blue pupils did not reflect Ai Qingyan's distorted face, as if they did not take her seriously at all.
When Ai Qingyan screamed and questioned him, his eyelashes didn't even tremble the slightest.
In his perception, she wasn't even a data error, just a piece of redundant code that needed to be removed.
"Leave the main planet, or I will deal with you personally."
His gaze finally fell on her face, his gray-blue pupils filled with an almost robotic indifference.
Communication was cut off, and silence washed over Ai Qingyan like a tidal wave.
Her angry rebuke came to an abrupt halt. The moment the light screen went out, her expression froze on her face, as if her soul had been ripped away, leaving only fear in her heart.
In the shadows of the corner of the academy, with no one around, only the cold metal wall reflecting Ai Qingyan's distorted image.
He Lan Yuan actually forced her to leave for that idiot?!
He said he'd handle her personally, as if he were saying he'd dispose of some insignificant piece of trash!
