On the day of leaving the B&B, Chi Ye drove Chen Yao's car to send her off.
Before setting off, Grandma Chi and Aunt Fang filled the car with all kinds of delicious food, most of which they had prepared in advance and were full of their love.
"If there's anything you want to eat or play, come over anytime. Your aunt and I are always here." Grandma Chi said to Chen Yao with a smile.

After the car drove onto the avenue, Chi Ye rolled up all the windows and said to Shen Yao, "It'll take about an hour to get there. If you feel sleepy, take a nap. I'll call you when we get there."
They all got up early today, so it's normal to feel sleepy.
But Shen Yao just shook her head and said, "It's okay, I'm not sleepy."
As she spoke, she thought of something and asked Chi Ye, "By the way, after you drop me off, will you go back to the B&B? Or will you stay in the city?"
Chi Ye: "I'd better go back to the B&B and stay for a while before returning to the city."
Chen Yao asked again: "Then how do you go back?"
He drove out in her car and left his own car at the B&B.
Chi Ye: "After sending you home, I'm going to meet a friend and ask him to take me back."
Chen Yao: "Okay."

Chi Ye turned his head to look at her with tenderness in his eyes, "Don't you have any other questions?"
Chen Yao was startled, "Anything else?"

Chi Ye: "For example, when will I return to the city? Or when will I start school?"
Chen Yao suddenly realized.

Since they confirmed their relationship, they have been together almost every day, and have rarely been apart except for sleeping at night. Even now, they are still together, so she temporarily ignored the feeling of being separated for a period of time and not being able to see each other often.
"When will you come back?" Chen Yao asked.
"Five days later." Chi Ye also took the initiative to add: "School will start in a month."
"Okay, I got it." Chen Yao pursed her lips and quickly planned a schedule in her mind to ensure a balance between the time for painting and possible dates in the future so that no one would interfere with anyone else.
Just then, Chen Yao's cell phone suddenly rang. It was her mother, Ms. Lin, calling and asking her where she was.
Chen Yao replied: "Mom, I just left not long ago and will be home in about an hour."
Ms. Lin: "That's perfect. I'll ask the kitchen to prepare lunch right now. Let's eat early today and invite your friend over. You've troubled them for so long, so it's only right that you treat them to a meal."
Chen Yao glanced at Chi Ye and responded to Ms. Lin.
Ms. Lin: "But let me tell you, your friend is really good. Although you have only known each other for a short time, this kid is quite honest."
It was obvious that Chen Yao had only casually mentioned Chi Ye to Ms. Lin a few times in the few days before she came back, but she didn't expect that she had already analyzed so much.

Chen Yao: "Yes, together. He is driving now."
Ms. Lin smiled and said, "Okay, then you can go back slowly. Drive slowly on the road. There's no rush."
After Chen Yao nodded, Ms. Lin was about to hang up the phone.
After the call ended, Chen Yao inexplicably felt relieved.
She didn't know why, even though she was already in her twenties, she still felt a bit embarrassed to tell her parents about her relationship.

At this moment, Chi Ye said, "Today I am going to play the role of an ordinary friend?"
