They were considered late to the party; the campus was already packed with students at almost 10 a.m.
Sure enough, buses were everywhere on campus, some full of people, others with long queues.
Jiang Jun spotted one of the black buses, his eyes lit up, and he pointed at it, saying, "Let's take that one."
The other three looked in the direction he was pointing. The car was parked in front of the library, and there were about a dozen people in line.
Suddenly, their eyes lit up: "Okay, we'll take that one."
Having made their decision, the four of them started walking towards the bus.
Time ticked by, and the bus, packed with people, still hadn't started moving, causing the students inside to become restless.
"Sir, why aren't you driving? If all the cars start moving at once, we'll probably be stuck in a traffic jam."
The driver's face was hidden under a baseball cap, and his voice sounded like it had been razor-sharpened with a blade, rough and frightening.
"What's the rush? It's not time yet, are you in such a hurry to be reincarnated?"
The student who was speaking was startled. During this special period, he didn't dare to offend the driver, so he could only shut his mouth.
The remaining students were even more terrified, afraid that they might displease the driver and be thrown off the bus.
Five minutes before 10 o'clock, an announcement suddenly came over the loudspeaker.
"There are five minutes left before the bus leaves the campus. Please board the bus as soon as possible."
Jiang Jun and the others were still in line; at this moment, there were five people ahead of them.
"Brother Jiang, what should we do? Do we really have to get on the bus?"
As Xu Shao listened to the countdown on the radio, his heart beat faster and faster.
Tian Yang no longer felt the excitement he had when he first heard he could leave; instead, his unease grew stronger.
"Wait a minute, something just occurred to me."
Zuo Rong turned to look at him: "What is it? Did you forget something?"
"Of course not. What time is it? What would be worth risking my life to get now?"
"What is it?"
Tian Yang picked up his phone, found the chat history where the posting rules were posted, and pointed to the phone screen to show them.
"Look, the time here is 6 p.m. on August 24th."
