After the meeting, before Bai Luoyu could even settle the score with Gu Nianchen, the latter had already picked him up and walked towards the bathroom.

I saw my younger brother standing in the living room, his eyes moving back and forth between Gu Nianchen and Bai Luoyu's faces.
"Why did you come back so early in the morning?" Bai Luoyu asked first to ease the awkwardness.
"I forgot a few books, so I came back to get them. Who is this, brother?" the younger brother asked carefully.
Bai Luoyu frowned and thought about what to say. After all, his younger brother was still young and he didn't want to bring a bad influence to him.
"I'm your brother's friend. I came back too late yesterday, so I'm staying here for one night. You must be Luo Yu's younger brother, the one who's going to take the college entrance exam? Good luck!" Gu Nianchen understood what Bai Luoyu meant, so he spoke first.
