Gu Nianchen cleaned up a room next to his bedroom in the Prince's Palace for Bai Luoyu to live in.
At first he was worried that Bai Luoyu would be scared sleeping alone because he was so young, but he was not afraid at all. He would go back to his room obediently at the appointed time, climb onto the bed and sleep, and his skill was so touching that it made people feel distressed.
Sometimes, Zhuanbi and Qiuling would secretly wipe away Bai Luoyu's tears and were happy for him because he had met His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and would finally not have to live a hard life anymore.
Gu Nianchen has to go to school every morning and can only return to the Prince's Palace at noon.
When Gu Nianchen was not around in the morning, he would sit in the yard and wait obediently.

"Good boy, Xiaoyu is very good." The little guy nodded seriously. The little guy had never been so happy before. He had lots of delicious food and beautiful clothes every day, and no one was mean to him or hit him.
Gu Nianchen now felt that time passed very slowly. He was still immature and could only let Bai Luoyu stay in the Prince's Palace every day. He felt that he had wronged him a little.
Thinking that there are still fifteen years left, and that he needs to improve himself to a level where he can protect Bai Luoyu at any time and any place, he feels that time is running out.
When Gu Nianchen wanted to hold him and feed him during dinner, the little boy jumped down by himself, then climbed onto a chair nearby and sat down: "Brother, eat more, I can eat by myself."
"Okay, then Xiaoyu should eat more and grow taller, okay?" Gu Nianchen helped him put on the bib and let him go by himself.
Zhuobi and Qiuling stood aside waiting for instructions. They always had a feeling that ever since His Royal Highness the Crown Prince brought Xiaoyu back, he seemed to have grown up. "Sister Zhuobi, Master Xiaoyu is missing."

"Several of our servants just went to collect this month's charcoal. When we arrived, the young master was sitting at the palace gate. When we came back, he was gone. We then searched everywhere in the palace but couldn't find him." The young eunuch was so panicked that he was about to cry.
Everyone likes Bai Luoyu very much, and they all know his position in Gu Nianchen's heart. If they come back and find out that Bai Luoyu is missing, they will probably be finished.
"Maybe he just went out to play. This place is not far from the Imperial Garden. You guys pretend to have an errand and go check it out.
