Chapter 14 The Dragon of the Transmigrated Trio (Part 1)

And then they got together.

...Sometimes Long Xun really can't understand what authors are thinking.

Of course, this isn't the main storyline. The main storyline revolves around another transmigrator, a woman with a game system. This woman has a unique and wildly imaginative personality; she's elegant and aloof, but acts erratically. Long Xun and Chen Ziqi meet but haven't fallen in love yet. When he meets the female lead, he's also captivated by her beauty, but he can't resist her eccentric and silly nature, so they remain just friends.

Later, the three time travelers became good partners during their travels. Long Xun and Chen Ziqi got together internally, while the female protagonist decisively went to Hua Manlou to have sex with him and then went home.

Long Xun stared blankly at the ending where the female lead married Hua Manlou, completely baffled. He clearly remembered that in the previous stories, the female lead was always in the limelight, doing things with Long Xun, helping Chen Ziqi escape the Rakshasa Sect's pursuit, advising Long Xun not to be so philandering, and even secretly bringing the two friends together when they were developing feelings for each other... and so on.

The true male protagonist, Hua Manlou, only appears once, in some obscure corner, and his lines are even less impressive than Ximen Chuixue's. At least Ximen Chuixue had quite a few lines when he fought Ye Gucheng and when they talked about swordsmanship. Hua Manlou in this novel could practically be renamed a "vase" (a derogatory term for a pretty face).

Anyway, his job is just to be as beautiful as a flower, dazzling the female lead and making her drool.

Given Hua Manlou's good looks in the story, it's understandable that the female lead would fall in love with him. So why did he fall in love with her?

This is so abrupt! It doesn't make sense!

Long Xun, who had been stunned for a long time, finally came to his senses and silently put the matter aside.

The only good thing about this story that left him completely bewildered was that after reading the original work, he understood exactly where the problem lay that caused the timeline to rewind.

The female protagonist has a system that makes her a healer, and the essential skill for a healer in the game system is resurrection.

Well, now everyone understands. Even if someone were to be resurrected in a complete world, the karmic consequences would be enormous, let alone in such an ordinary little world.

In the original novel, Chen Ziqi is the most tragic transmigrator. She first worked as an assassin for ten years, and then was constantly hunted down. She only breathed a sigh of relief when Long Xun protected her. But this girl's bad luck is no joke. When the Rakshasa Sect finally released her, as the only pushover among the three transmigrators, she was always the target of all the scheming people in the original novel.

This girl is almost always killed off in every story, and then the female lead picks up the corpse and resurrects her.

The world can still withstand this, since these three are essentially visitors from another world, and their deaths won't affect the world's foundation.

The problem was that when Ye Gucheng and Ximen Chuixue fought, Ye Gucheng's rebellion plan had long been ruined by the interference of the three time-traveling individuals, so the two swordsmen were truly focused on their battle... and then the two, both at their peak, perished together.

The original novel had a particularly funny scene where, while the onlookers were silently mourning, the female lead leaped onto the roof of the Forbidden City like a monkey with its tail on fire. With a wave of her hand, the sword immortal and sword god were resurrected in full power under a halo of light. The trio of time travelers were smugly pleased with themselves, while the natives looked on in awe at the gods.

This is an indigenous person, he should have died but he didn't. How can the world not have problems?

So the novel ended, and those who were supposed to get married got married and those who were supposed to go home and have children got married. But this world kept reloading saves and starting over during the period from the beginning of the original work to the peak battle between Ye Gucheng and Ximen Chuixue, where they both died for love (...) oh no, they died together and were then resurrected by the female lead.

Unlike the previous world, which changed its attributes to adapt to the alien fruit, this world remains the same. This is because resurrection is not something that can be adapted to simply by changing one's circumstances.

It's troublesome in some ways, but not so troublesome in others. The original novel states that sword gods and sword immortals cannot die, so Long Xun has to ensure that they don't die. As long as they can be resurrected, everything else is negotiable.

After sorting through the information, Long Xun rubbed his temples and sighed softly.

He doesn't need to make it as big as in his previous life. This time, he just needs to gather the three transmigrators together and keep an eye on the female lead to prevent her from resurrecting herself for no reason.

Before that, his most important task was... to quickly find himself some clothes. This was ancient times, where wearing undergarments, or even pajamas, was considered naked! Besides, he was practically a pervert, wearing only his underwear!

And it was at this moment that the female protagonist of the story appeared.

It was in a way that Long Xun would never have imagined.

The girl had been in the game for an hour. After a deep reflection on her past, she started studying the game system that had come with her. It happened to be the account she used when she was playing dungeons, a Poison Girl, whose ID was Gu Nu.

After that, Gu Nu familiarized herself with the game system's operation—basically by shouting—then she patted her butt, stood up, and planned to find someone to inquire about news from this world.

She hadn't walked far when she saw a tall man on the road with an amazing physique, wearing only black tights. The man had broad shoulders, a narrow waist, long legs, silver hair down to his waist, horns on his head, and a tail behind his buttocks.

Gu Nu: "..."

Have I fucking been transported to a world of monsters?!

Mom!! Come quick, come out and see the monster!!

Covering her mouth and desperately suppressing the scream that was about to burst out, the Gu woman carefully retreated step by step, hiding herself among the trees and flowers before finally letting out a sigh of relief. She focused her attention on the monster and discovered the red and blue stripes on its head that were so striking they brought tears to her eyes.
