Lingxu did not think there was anything wrong with him capturing demons and using their inner cores to increase his cultivation. This attitude made the three young men, who were furious, calm down instead.
Xia Yize's spiritual energy surged and boiled, and his sword hummed softly. He said slowly, "There was a pact among the cultivation sects of the Central Plains that anyone who takes the inner core of a demon to benefit their own cultivators shall be sentenced to death!"
