Chapter 152 The Reborn Young Hero's Dragon (Twenty)

The palace has always been so quiet and solemn, especially the Consort Shu's Palace.

The sun was shining brightly today, warm and pleasant, but not as scorching as the summer heat of the past few days. Consort Hongshan, who always seemed a little tired in the summer, carried her son to the courtyard to bask in the sun with him.

The young prince was dressed in fine clothes, wrapped in a thick fox fur coat. The white fur collar made his skin look as white as snow, like a fairy child.

Even at a young age, the Third Prince already showed signs of inheriting the beauty of his mother, Consort Hongshan, and was extremely handsome. His long-term frail health and bedridden condition gave him a more silent and aloof air than other children.

The mother sat quietly on a reclining chair in the courtyard, a gentle smile on her lips, watching her young son squat down by the roadside, his gaze fixed intently on a small flower.

The loving mother and her young child make for a truly beautiful picture.

The third prince suddenly asked, "Mother, may I touch it?"

“Yes, A-Chen.” Hong-Shan got off the recliner, disregarding her flowing gown, and squatted down beside him, watching the little flower with him.

The third prince reached out and gently touched the petals of the small flower with his tiny fingertips.

The tiny flowers, with their slender stems, sway gently in the wind, so fragile, as if they might die at any moment.

“It’s beautiful,” Hongshan said.

"It looks very weak. If the palace maids who sweep and clean see it, they will definitely pull it out." The Third Prince simply stated this fact.

“But Ah Chen, it has already bloomed, and you and I have already appreciated its beauty.”

"What's the point?"

"some."

The Third Prince didn't speak, but slowly stood up, and Hong Shan followed suit.

"Mother, I want to walk around by myself, right here." The Third Prince did not want to be led by his mother's hand.

“Okay.” Hongshan nodded.

Everyone knows that the Third Prince is naturally weak and spends twenty days a month bedridden and extremely frail. No one would be surprised if he suddenly died of a sudden illness one day.

The Third Prince strolled slowly in the courtyard, and although Hong Shan did not hold his hand, she followed him at a distance.

Even when walking, the third prince was slower than ordinary children. His smooth, flowing hair fluttered in the wind, but his heavy fox fur remained perfectly still.

Suddenly, the Third Prince stopped in his tracks, raised his head thoughtfully, and looked at the eaves of the corridor.

He felt as if someone was watching him.

"Ah Chen, what are you looking at?" Hong Shan looked in the direction of his gaze, but didn't see anything.

"Mother, look." The Third Prince walked a few steps quickly, stopped slightly out of breath by the corridor, squatted down, and when he stood up again, he was holding a small box in his hands.

Hongshan looked at the thing in his hand and couldn't help but ask, "Found it again?" The beautiful woman looked around nervously. The palace maids and eunuchs, following her orders, did not attend to her. No one noticed what had just happened.

"Hmm... He came. It's a pity I still didn't see what he looked like." The Third Prince said, opening the box and taking out a green fruit from inside as usual. He took a bite, and the sweet and slightly astringent juice immediately made his mouth water, and the weakness in his body was greatly reduced.

"Hurry up and finish eating, then put the box back... I wonder who it is that always gives you such precious things. If you ever meet them again, be sure to thank them properly," Hongshan instructed.

"I know, Mother."

As the Third Prince spoke, he finished the fruit in a few bites, took out a note he had written earlier from his bosom, put it inside, closed the lid, and hid it under a pillar.

"Mother, I'm a little sleepy."

"Okay, let's go back and rest then."

Hongshan took his hand and led him back.

The Third Prince turned his head to the side, as if he were talking to his mother. Hongshan smiled gently, patted his head, and straightened his collar.

Out of the corner of his eye, he vaguely saw a figure that looked like it was wearing a black robe, but it disappeared in an instant.

The third prince noticed from a young age that someone had been visiting him frequently since the beginning of his life, bringing him delicious food that was good for his health.

He didn't tell anyone about it, but Hongshan noticed that whenever he was sick and couldn't get better, he would miraculously recover the next day, so she quietly asked him about it.

Unable to keep it a secret any longer, the third prince told the truth.

This mysterious connection lasted for several years.

One day, the Third Prince woke up to the news that his father was going to send him to Mount Taihua to cultivate, because this would improve his physique, gradually making him like an ordinary person, and even surpassing ordinary people.

The Emperor was the most powerful man in the world, and his words were law. The Third Prince silently changed into casual clothes and left the palace under the Emperor's guidance.

The carriage swayed and wobbled for a while before stopping. The emperor got out of the carriage, exchanged a few words with another gentle and youthful boy, and then told him to get out of the carriage as well.

He saw a child his own age, but incredibly beautiful, like a gentleman, though his expression was slightly aloof.

The Third Prince's gaze did not linger on him, but passed over him to the black-robed man behind him.

He had probably never met that person, but he felt that this person was very worthy of his closeness and trust.

The black-robed man, whose face was completely obscured by the shadow of his hood, seemed to notice the Third Prince's gaze. He looked up and his beautiful silver eyes met the Third Prince's gaze.

The Third Prince suddenly felt a tightness in his chest, and before he could figure it out, the man in black lowered his head again.
