Chapter 203 Extra: A-Tan & Mu Chunfeng (Part Two)

The chubby, three-headed baby is adorable, with honest and straightforward blue vertical pupils. Even after falling down, he still has a smile on his face. Because he is so small, he is easy to mistake for being silly.

A-Tan brushed the dirt off her clothes, looked up at Mu Chunfeng, and gave him a big smile: "Mu Chunfeng."

"This humble god greets Your Highness. Please forgive me for being unable to perform the proper greeting due to my physical restraints." Mu Chunfeng promptly feigned apology and guilt, casually and nonchalantly responding to the child.

He figured the child was probably just curious... after all, people as wicked as him are really rare.

A-Tan frowned. The cheerful child who had just seemed ordinary suddenly became arrogant and fierce, exuding an intimidating aura: "You look down on me?"

Mu Chunfeng couldn't help but laugh sarcastically, his tone utterly sincere: "This humble god is under a restraint, and it is not that I am disrespecting Your Highness."

"That's not what I meant, and there's no need for any formalities." A-Tan still frowned, pointing to her eyes. "You didn't look at me once while you spoke, your expression was apologetic and guilty, your tone was sincere, but your eyes showed no emotion whatsoever, and even conveyed annoyance. Do you think I'm annoying?"

Mu Chunfeng, holding the sculpture in one hand and the carving knife in the other, stopped moving, his face bearing a perfect, gentle smile, his gaze fixed intently on A Tan.

A-Tan stood there with her hands behind her back, her blue dragon tail sweeping slightly behind her, and asked bluntly, "What do you dislike about me? I've changed, can you like me now?"

Mu Chunfeng found it amusing, so he actually laughed: "What does Your Highness mean by this? Could it be... that Your Highness is looking for someone to like?"

Atan answered honestly, "No, it doesn't matter whether other people like me or not, but it makes me feel uncomfortable because you seem to dislike me."

Mu Chunfeng simply smiled gently and lowered his head to continue carving his statue.

The gale blew back and forth within the barrier, but A-Tan's bloodline allowed him to move freely within the barrier set up by the Dragon God, making it impossible for him to be harmed.

Mu Chunfeng ignored him, and A Tan didn't care either, squeezing in to check on him every now and then.

A long time passed, and Atan grew a little more, transforming from a three-headed toddler into a child as tall as an adult's thigh.

His cultivation level is still very weak.

One day, Mu Chunfeng suddenly became interested and casually asked, "Why are you here again?"

"You're beautiful." Since childhood, A-Tan has had a natural domineering and arrogant attitude, and his words are so frank that no one can misunderstand or avoid his meaning: "Every time I see you, my mood will be better for a long time."

Mu Chunfeng paused slightly, raised her eyes, and looked the child up and down several times with a strange gaze.

He was certain that the child was unaware of how misleading his words were.

It was also confirmed that the child simply appreciated it as a beautiful sight, just like seeing pretty flowers or lovely creatures.

However... perhaps we can make use of it.

So Mu Chunfeng chuckled lightly, feigning nonchalance but with a hint of sarcasm, and said, "Why don't you keep me by your side? You can keep an eye on me at all times and keep your mood up."

Atan raised his eyebrows and laughed: "If you want to get away, you'd better figure out where you went wrong as soon as possible. I won't help you."

Mu Chunfeng's gaze darkened slightly, and he chuckled lightly, his tone tinged with self-deprecation: "Oh, yes, Mu Chunfeng is quite cunning... Your Highness should be wary of this humble god taking the opportunity to escape."

Atan smiled at him, and after a long while, she clapped and praised, "Although I knew it was fake, my heart still softened a little just now. Mu Chunfeng, you truly deserve to be the one who caused the war in the three realms."

Mu Chunfeng couldn't help but grip the carving knife tightly, and the gentle smile on his face vanished completely.

He raised his head and looked at A-Tan with a blank expression.

When those perfectly gentle smiles, identical to Mu Feng's, vanished from his face, one could see that this handsome young man possessed an overly deep pair of dark eyes, profound features, and delicate, refined facial lines, yet his thin lips betrayed a hint of melancholy. He was like a cold night wind suddenly passing by, seemingly right before one's eyes, yet unapproachable, elusive, and capable of instilling a chilling fear in one's heart.

He is very handsome, and his smile is like holy light shining in your heart, but when he stops smiling and turns cold, he becomes eerie and terrifying.

A-Tan laughed, raising her eyebrows arrogantly and bluntly: "You look better with a straight face than with a fake smile."

"You flatter me," Mu Chunfeng replied indifferently, then added, "Are you here to laugh at me?"

A-Tan could see through all his pretense and understand the true intentions behind every word he said, so she didn't hesitate to expose everything frankly.

Mu Chunfeng knew that her disguise could not fool him, so she simply revealed her true self, showing all her disgust and malice on her face.

A-Tan laughed and shook his head: "No, I want you to leave."

"Does Your Highness perhaps wish to offer your life for this humble god?" Mu Chunfeng sneered.

“I don’t want to.” A-Tan smiled and said, “If you admit your mistake yourself, you can naturally leave.”

"..."

They parted on bad terms.

Mu Chunfeng didn't think he was wrong; he would have done the same thing a hundred times over.

A-Tan didn't say a word more. As he grew older, he became increasingly arrogant, domineering, and eccentric. He was incapable of gently and carefully telling Mu Chunfeng what was happening in the outside world. He would only mention it occasionally, barely letting Mu Chunfeng know some important matters.

For example, the Vermilion Bird and Phoenix clans have recovered, and now the clan leaders of the two clans are the younger generation who have grown up. The two generations of Vermilion Birds, Mu Zhuque and Mu Chunfeng, have become legends.

For example, someone in the Immortal Realm cultivates to the peak and replaces the old Immortal Emperor who was severely injured in the Three Realms War, becoming the new generation of Immortal Emperor.
