Chapter 38 Reborn as a Dragon in the Zombie World (Part 9)

The white-haired, blue-eyed woman stepped forward without a word, grabbed Eryuan Sanliang's tail, swung it around her head a few times, and then threw it to the ground. The tangled snake heads were now freed, and Eryuan Sanliang rolled around on the ground, dizzy and unable to get up.

This is Zhang Moyu, the female protagonist of the original novel. After communication was restored in J City, she called her parents in another city. Following their advice, she found a computer that was still working and could connect to the internet. After watching the apocalypse live stream, she used her powerful ice-type superpowers to directly approach them and joined the team earlier than Mu Chunfeng and Ye Tan.

At the back of the group, Yu Duguang, holding an unconscious person in his arms, looked at the violent woman Zhang Moyu in front of him and shook his head helplessly.

Yu Duguang, from the military, is said to be the grandson of the top military commander of T Province. Because he idolizes Long Xun, he disguises himself and infiltrates the government army that has been in contact with Long Xun's team, leaving the safe capital city on his own. He even throws a tantrum and insists on staying here.

Five months ago, during the construction of the base, a zombie evolution attacked the base. Most of the members of the Longxun team were out searching for survivors. When he encountered the crisis, his inner power erupted. After strengthening his belief, he unleashed his Word of Power and the alienation ability, saving the base from its fate.

His mutant ability is similar to that of Sheila, who is now a researcher and doesn't leave the base. Both can conjure a pair of wings, but the difference is that Sheila has white wings while he has black wings. In addition, he uses his word magic like a curse... and now he even has the chuunibyou nickname of Dark Feather Fallen Angel.

Sheila's nickname is a sci-fi angel of light...

Leaving aside the two angels, Chen Yanye is an orphan who survives in J City thanks to his resilient and calm nature. He was rescued by Long Xun and his team five months ago when the base encountered a crisis. Seeing that everyone in the base was seriously injured, this desperate child, facing hope and eager to repay the kindness, directly manifested his light-based superpower because of his desire to save people.

Therefore, he saved many people from death.

Behind them, a boy who looked only a few years older than Yin Chen silently followed, clutching a large knife tightly in his hand. He was Wang Yimo, a person who had been rescued from C City, J Province, three months ago. He was originally a junior high school student, but in order to protect his younger sister, he unleashed his metal-type superpower at the beginning of the apocalyptic crisis. After making a round iron cage out of metal, he pushed the cage around the city every day in search of food.

His large cage inspired many people. It had a double-layered structure with gaps between the sturdy outer and inner layers, so there was no need to worry about air circulation. The iron cage also prevented the zombies from getting close. When a person pushed it from inside, the cage would roll, making it easy to cross mountains and seas.

Although this cage is not offensive, it is very safe. Nowadays, many people outside have been given this kind of large cage by the government. After modification, the inner cage will not roll over, so as to prevent people from being shaken unconscious. It is used as a backup for escaping.

In the past few days, Long Xun and his team have rescued many people. They searched and rescued people from J City outwards. The farther they went from J City, the more people survived. Most people chose to go to a safer place to accept the government's arrangements as soon as they were safe. However, some people, like Ka Mo, chose to stay, even though they were of no use, but they hoped to do what they could.

Many people also flocked to this dangerous place from outside, fighting on the front lines against the zombies.

No one knows what has happened outside of this country now because of the communication disruption. We haven't heard anything about foreign news since the zombies generally evolved into intermediate-level zombies six months ago. However, many refugees from other countries on the Asian continent are frantically pouring into this country.

The people here are not in chaos; they are doing their best to unite as one to face this crisis, and everyone is playing their part.

Although an individual may seem insignificant, the power of humanity, when united, is enough to overcome anything.

Yu Duguang handed the rescued people over to the welcoming party, who would arrange medical treatment and housing, and according to the rescued people's wishes, arrange whether they would go to a safer place or stay here.

"Brother!" A petite girl ran over quickly with her short legs, threw herself into Wang Yimo's arms, and gave her brother a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"Oh my, why can Qiqi only see her own brother? Uncle wants a kiss too~!" Yu Duguang said, pouting and getting close to Wang Qiqi for a kiss. Chen Yanye looked at his sly and lewd appearance with disgust, pushed his head away and said coldly, "That's enough."

"Just kidding, are you jealous?" Yu Duguang looked at him innocently.

Wang Yimo smiled, put Qiqi down, and said softly, "Qiqi, say hello to everyone."

"Yes~!" Qiqi nodded her little head obediently and waved to everyone earnestly: "Uncle Yu, Uncle Chen, Sister Zhang, Uncle Long, Uncle Ka, Uncle Ye, Uncle Mu, Brother Yin, and Brother Eryuan Sanliang."

The adorable child softened the murderous aura of the team members who had just returned from the battle. Ye Tan picked up the child and bounced him around in her arms, exclaiming, "Oh dear, the little guy has gained weight again!"

Mu Chunfeng looked at the little girl gently and smiled when she heard this, saying, "She's at the age where she should be gaining weight."

Five- or six-year-old children change every day as they grow.

Yin Chen tugged at Long Xun's hand. Long Xun glanced down at him, took out a bunch of snacks from his bag, and tried to soften his voice as he said, "Ah Chen found these for you."

Qiqi was overjoyed, her face beaming with happiness, and she exclaimed loudly, "Thank you, Brother Yin! Thank you, Uncle Long!"
