Putting the cigarette case back, the man picked up the Zippo lighter. The silver-gray lighter spun rapidly between his fingers, the flame flickering on and off. Then, somehow, the lighter snapped shut, and a flame appeared on the man's slender index finger, which he held to his lips to light the cigarette.
The smoke he exhaled curled out, blurring the man's perfect face. He placed his hands on the steering wheel, and the car slowly started with a roar.
The entrance to this international art exhibition was already crowded with reporters with their cameras and microphones. The man, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, glanced lazily out the window, then looked away and headed straight for the private entrance to the participating artists' area.
In the parking lot, the man stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray inside the car, opened the door, and got out.
As if by fate, the man suddenly turned around, and behind him, a young man in a white suit got out of another silver-gray sports car. His gentle and polite smile made him look quite handsome.
"Cut! Perfect!"
Director Li's voice instantly put everyone at ease, especially Gou Di, the third male lead who acted opposite Long Xun and became famous for his role in the original novel. Gou Di showed a relieved expression, as if he had finally gotten the part.
Gou Di couldn't help but feel fortunate that all the previous scenes with Long Xun, except for the one where he didn't know how to drive and had to learn how to start and shift gears on the spot, were all filmed in one take without any retakes. However, the scene in the parking lot where Gou Di, the third male lead, confronted Long Xun was filmed dozens of times.
There was nothing that could be done about it. The moment Long Xunguang stood there, his aura made it impossible for anyone to put on any acting skills. Moreover, this guy was just too good-looking. Gou Di considered himself a handsome guy, but looking at the other guy, it was hard not to feel inferior.
It was this powerful pressure that made it impossible to portray the feeling of equal strength in the script. Long Xun's aura of being able to defeat heaven, earth, and all living beings made the third male lead played by Gou Di seem like a mere extra.
—Regarding the demon king aura, all I can say is that the beauty mark the makeup artist added was quite classic.
In the end, Long Xun had to try his best to suppress his aura, and even only showed the back of his head to the camera, while Gou Di secretly exchanged for a super acting skill from the system, and only then did he finally succeed in passing this scene.
It's already late at night.
Ye Anan, who had already woken up at noon, rushed over when he saw that filming had ended and handed his boss some clean water that the crew had provided.
Long Xun never liked to make things complicated. He would just eat whatever he wanted, and he didn't care about anything else. Fortunately, the original Long Xun was quite similar to him in this respect. He didn't do anything special, and during his time on set, he just ate and drank the boxed meals and water provided by the crew.
It seemed like someone was secretly taking pictures around them. Ye Anan asked Long Xun in a low voice, "Boss, do you need to?"
"Don't worry about it," Long Xun said calmly.
Back at the hotel, Long Xun immediately went back to JX3 (Sword Net 3) and continued leveling up with great enthusiasm. The previous night's struggles had made him a little more familiar with the game, and he could handle many problems on his own.
Meanwhile, the online frenzy is still building.
At 9 p.m., a Weibo post titled "you-know-who?" was suddenly updated under the Weibo account of well-known director Li Moumou. The post read "yes" and included a trailer video.
To the accompaniment of a melancholic melody, the sounds of elementary school students reciting rhymes while playing hopscotch, shuttlecock, and jump rope filled the air. On the screen, in a scene reminiscent of an old photograph, a group of children in school uniforms laughed and played together. A vibrant young girl stood out among them, while in another corner, a bookish-looking boy stared intently at her, oblivious to the other girl quietly reading a book who was also watching him.
The slightest contact, the innocent and naive feelings, the occasional touch of fingers would make her blush, and looking into your eyes would make her feel shy. Just being together would make the air seem to be filled with the sweetness of sugar, and the corners of her mouth would involuntarily turn up, revealing a silly smile.
The scene shifts to young boys and girls walking side by side. The vibrant girl has tears in her eyes and runs away, disappearing around the corner. The boy raises his hand as if to call out to her, but he doesn't make a sound.
The music gradually faded, and the wind seemed to be whispering.
The boy's monologue began.
"Six years ago, on that day, we graduated, and I told her I was going abroad."
The next moment, a deep, cool, and pleasant male voice, so melodious it could make your ears pregnant, gently rang out.
"Six years later, on the same day, I returned and met her on the train."
Inside the train carriage, a disheveled and unkempt man stood with his head slightly bowed, facing a radiant and still beautiful woman across from him.
Each slow-motion scene reveals the surprise hidden beneath the man's cold exterior, followed by hesitation, shrinking back, and silence upon seeing the woman's diamond ring.
Finally, the woman got off the train midway, while the man remained on the train heading to his destination.
The scene then changes.
The man, wearing an extremely unfashionable navy blue jacket, slowly took off his clothes.
Strong shoulders and back, flamboyant dragon patterns, and alluring V-line.
The glasses he had taken off were placed on the table. In the steamy bathroom, the man tilted his face up under the showerhead, letting the water spray on his face. His incredibly perfect facial features could be vaguely seen, but the indistinctness only added to the suspense.
They never showed a direct shot of their faces.
Finally, the man standing in front of the mirror was wearing sharp suit pants and buttoning his shirt. The dragon pattern on his body was covered up, and his wild and masculine feeling was concealed by his refined demeanor.
