After a few experiments, Long Xun and Xila mastered the new way of flying, and soon maintained a distance of ten meters above the ground. At this distance, neither Long Xun's Jianwang 3 minimap nor Xila's ultrasonic detection was afraid of missing any humans passing by.
Unfortunately, all that could be found were scattered, aimless zombies on the ground, with no sign of life. There were also piles of zombies whose heads had been pierced and who were completely dead.
When the zombies heard the whooshing sound of them flying through the sky, they slowly raised their heads, but by then Long Xun and Xila had already flown by for a while, so the zombies continued to wander aimlessly in the empty sky.

Those houses are the old-style buildings found in every newly developed city. As before, Yin Chen grabbed Long Xun's white clothes and obediently squatted down, carefully sticking his head out from the edge of the rooftop to look at the ground. His eyes sparkled with curiosity, making his dark eyes seem to twinkle with faint stars.

Long Xun looked down at him, gently rubbed his head, and then withdrew his hand. Yin Chen turned back, tilted his head, and looked at the hand hanging in front of him. The hand was beautiful, fair and translucent, with long, slender fingers, distinct knuckles, and each nail was round and full, as if carved from jade.
Yin Chen carefully picked it up, palm down, and slowly placed it on his head. Then he put his hands back on the ground, shook his head slightly, felt the warmth and weight on his head, and his face showed that silly smile again.
Long Xun watched his movements the entire time, without uttering a sound or moving, and without withdrawing his hand after Yin Chen finished. His lowered eyes and quiet observation, even though his face was expressionless, gave the impression of...something very gentle.
Milk Tea Mouse looked at Long Xun and then at Yin Chen with great confusion. Why did it feel like... its status as its master's beloved pet had been challenged?
"Detection complete. Dr. Long, one male evolved being and one ordinary male human have been detected. Should we provide assistance?"
Long Xun thought for a moment: "Where are the ordinary person and the evolved person respectively?"
"The male evolved human is in the very center of the circle, while the ordinary male human is in the basement of the office building at the four o'clock position, centered on the evolved human. Both are currently unconscious." Hilla paused, then added, "I suggest Dr. Long first rescue the ordinary male human, who is surrounded by seventeen zombies in the basement and will be attacked by them in three minutes."
