Chapter 269 Return to the Fairy Tale World (Part 7)

That night, Sophie packed up her things and ran away.

Taking advantage of the dark night and strong wind, she broke the surrounding magic circle and escaped from the small courtyard without looking back.

Although it is indeed comfortable to live a life of having everything provided for you.

But as the saying goes, one should be grateful to the person who feeds him and to the person who gives him gifts.

She didn't want to have to "give herself to him" to pay off the debt, so it was better to leave.

However, things don't always develop as we wish.

As Sophie stepped out of the yard, she bumped into a dark figure standing outside the door.

"Hiss... Who's so blind as to be wandering around here so late at night?"

Sophie raised her head while cursing, and a pair of dark eyes without a trace of warmth instantly met her eyes.

"H...Hall?"

Sophie was stunned on the spot.

At this late hour of night, he didn't rest in the room but stood outside her yard like a pillar. Could it be that he was sure that she would run away so he came to catch her?

"What a coincidence, Hall, you're out admiring the moon too."

Sophie rolled her dark eyes and pointed at the full moon in the sky in an attempt to divert his attention.

But the man in front of her was like a cold stone sculpture, staring at her without blinking.

What's going on?

Sophie curled her lips in displeasure, then stepped back and tried to break through from the side.

Suddenly, a large, cold hand came out of nowhere and tightly grasped her slender waist.

"Hall, what are you doing? Get out of here!"

Sophie's movements were restricted, and she looked sullen and cold for a moment.

But the man in front of her turned a deaf ear to her and instead suddenly pulled her closer.

Sophie was caught off guard and lost her balance, falling into his arms.

Her poor nose was hit again for no apparent reason, and the pain made her burst into tears on the spot.

"As the saying goes, a gentleman uses his mouth, not his fists. If you have anything to say, just say it directly. Why is it so..."

Incessant chatter continued to pour out of the girl's mouth, and Hall's eyes grew darker.

He raised his hand to press the back of her head, then lowered his head to capture her tender lips.

The unfinished words were forced to stop abruptly, drowned between the lips and teeth.

What followed was a clear and hot breath, and an irresistible domineering power.

Oh shit, what the hell?

Sophie's pupils suddenly shrank, her computer shut down, and she almost stopped breathing.

She stared in disbelief at the strange yet familiar man in front of her, and in response she was met with a surging predatory intent in his obsidian eyes.

With a "swish", all the hairs on his body stood up.

Damn, this bastard is crazy!

Sophie immediately came to a conclusion and moved her fingertips in an attempt to use magic to escape.

However, the magic power that he was so proud of died down at this critical moment.

Shift!

It turns out that the problem of limited magic power on the night of the full moon has not been solved at all!

Sophie realized later that her infinite magic buff was gone.

Just now, when she forcibly broke the magic circle, she had already used up all the magic power she could use.

Before she had time to reminisce, Hall carried her back into the yard.

The high-level magic circle with silver light reappeared in the surroundings.

Compared with the previous formation, this magic formation has a smaller range and stronger defense.

Even a high-level witch like her couldn't break it on her own.

"Be good these days. I'll come back to see you when I'm done with my business."

Hall put away the silver light in his palm and raised his hand to touch Sophie's hairy head.

"Fuck you! Do you know you're illegally imprisoning me? If you have the guts, remove the magic circle and let's have a fair fight!"

Sophie had no hope of escape, so she turned her head away and tried to provoke the other party.

Unfortunately, Hall didn't buy it.
