After treating the wound, Aunt Zhang brought over a set of comfortable clothes. "Miss An, your room will be the second one on the left on the second floor. Please let me know if you need anything."
"Thanks……"
An He took the clothes and stood at the door watching Aunt Zhang leave before entering the house.
Her room was no different from the one in Anjia, the only difference being that this room was so pink!
She was so ashamed of herself for liking pink; how could her aunt have such a fondness for it?
Anhe went to the bathroom to take a shower and changed into the clothes that Aunt Zhang had prepared. She then lay on the bed, completely emptying her mind.
So, why did my aunt bring her to the United States?
Unable to figure it out, An He buried his head and fell asleep. When he woke up again, it was already dark.
When An He looked at his phone and saw it was noon, he was a little confused. Then he suddenly realized that the time on his phone hadn't been set correctly.
Anhe opened the door and went out. When she came in, she saw an aunt busy in the kitchen. Since she was hungry, Anhe went to the kitchen on the first floor.
The refrigerator was fully stocked with food, and Anhe took out a bowl of noodles.
"Get some more eggs and vegetables, make more, I'm so hungry."
An He subconsciously turned his head and saw Mingyue leaning lazily against the door frame, looking like she hadn't woken up yet. He obediently nodded and took four eggs and a bunch of greens.
The noodles cooked quickly. An He ladled out a small bowl, leaving the rest for Mingyue. At the dining table, An He ate in small bites.
Have you thought about what you want to do in the future?
An He gripped his chopsticks tightly, his eyes filled with confusion, and whispered, "I want to study..."
Mingyue nodded, enjoying her bowl of noodles with a smile, and lazily looked at Anhe with her eyelids lifted. "Your grades can't be made up for in a few months. You have other options besides studying."
"Can I have it?"
Anhe was terrified. She had always felt that studying was the easiest shortcut in life, but her aunt said she had other options. Could she make the right choice?
"Why not?" Mingyue smiled faintly. "No rush, you can think about it slowly."
"Um."
In the days that followed, Mingyue gave Anhe plenty of time to think about it. Anhe even asked An Ruyu, who was far away in K City, "Sister Ruyu, do you think I should continue my studies or choose to paint?"
She's been thinking about this for a long time these past few days; her only skill is drawing.
An Ruyu immediately replied, "Of course, it's reading books. Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles."
If Anhe were to embark on the path of painting, how would she be able to replicate the other person's artwork?
The An family is so heartless; they should give her this compensation.
An He thought An Ruyu was right. The next day, he sat at the dining table thinking about how to bring it up. He glanced at Mingyue, who was focused on eating, and had second thoughts.
"Miss Ming, this is today's newspaper."
Aunt Zhang habitually took another newspaper and placed it next to An He, then stepped aside.
"Auntie, I want to study..."
Mingyue's eyes turned towards them.
An He gritted his teeth and bit his tongue, the pain bringing tears to his eyes. He forced himself to change what he was saying, "Read the newspaper."
Mingyue gave Anhe a strange look. "And then? Have you decided what to do?"
An He was instantly on high alert. If she still said she wanted to study, her aunt wouldn't be disappointed in her. But when she glanced at a figure skater from a certain country who had won first place, she thought of painting, but blurted out, "I want to learn figure skating."
Bright Moon: ?
Mingyue squinted, wondering why her dream had been changed if she hadn't been possessed.
Anhe: ! TvT
Is it too late to take her back now?
