The next morning, Xia Baolin left before dawn, unaware of what had happened between Qin Chuchu and Mingyue.

Xia Baolin pursed her lips, suppressing a smile, as she watched Mingyue slowly finish one large meat bun after another.
The man smacked his lips and said irritably, "A good man doesn't argue with a woman. I'm going to eat too."
Mingyue looked at Xia Baolin, "Why are you here?"
"Mingyue, are you and Qin Chuchu very familiar?"
"It's alright, considering it was a friendly exchange."
I wouldn't call myself familiar with them.
Xia Baolin's heart jumped instantly. She pulled Mingyue to a secluded spot and said, "Last night, Qin Chuchu was covered in mud and angrily banged on your room, accusing me of conspiring with you to frame her."
"Did you catch her doing something wrong? Is that why she's all dirty?"
Mingyue shook her head seriously and said solemnly, "How can you say that? Qin Zhiqing kindly took me to the mountain to do experiments. I think Qin Zhiqing was frightened on the mountain. It's alright. I'll take her there a few more times next time."

Qin Chuchu happened to see Mingyue enter, remained silent, picked up her things and went straight out.
