Chapter 33 The Little Prince of the Sea (Part 7)

Qi Qi: "Hmm?"

Lan smiled gently: "Let's go, let's go now."

The two didn't wait until nightfall. After persuading Haiyan and Zhenzhu, Lan took Qiqi to the island. On the way, the four ships from the previous night were still adrift at sea.

Qi Qi and Lan looked from behind the bunker and saw that people on the shore were already walking towards the island.

The island is a cliff-like place, and the top of the castle is very high. The secret passage leads from the inside to the underground part of the island. It is simply carved out and is not particularly narrow, allowing two or three people to pass through at a time.

Lan was tall, while Qi Qi was neither fat nor thin, just the right size for them to swim side by side.

Holding a luminous pearl in one hand to illuminate his surroundings, Qi Qi observed the cave. It was incredibly dark here. Because the water was flowing, over time, a small marine ecosystem had formed within the stone peak, with small fish occasionally swimming in.

Upon approaching and seeing the two glowing mermaid tails, they were immediately frightened away.

Lan: "It's a bit dark, isn't it boring?"

Qi Qi: "It's alright, it feels like an adventure."

The stones beside him were sharp, and Qi Qi bumped into one without noticing, causing a red mark to appear from his shoulder to his collarbone.

Seeing this, Lan reached out and pulled him to her side, his left hand carrying a bag containing something, while his right hand was around Qi Qi's shoulder.

"Come a little closer."

The passage is long and narrow, with many turns, so you need to swim slowly.

"There are many passageways in the castle, one of which leads directly to the viewing pool over there." Lan's voice came from beside him in the small space, and Qi Qi heard it very clearly.

"Are there other passages?"

Lan: "Those aren't very clean, this one is the most normal."

"oh."

It took about half an hour to reach the place. There was a broken iron fence at the entrance of the passage that was almost unrecognizable. The bottom of the pool was paved with bricks and covered with a layer of mud. Above was a darker blue seawater, about 30 meters in diameter, with some fish swimming around. The green grass on the side was lush.

Through the water, Qi Qi could see the towering, massive castle not far away. The traces of history were overwhelming, giving it a different feel from modern architecture. Although it was old, the damaged parts were still in good condition, and one could see the skill of the craftsmen who built it.

In this desolate place, plants always grow exceptionally lushly. Rose vines and other unidentified plants almost covered half of the castle, making it very beautiful.
