Chapter 102 Warlord of the Republic of China (Top) x Actor (Bottom) (19)

He stopped what he was doing, looked up at Shen Ye, his dark eyes as deep and unfathomable as the sea.

He slowly uttered two words from his thin lips: "No."

Only by possessing him can one feel that he is still there.

Shen Ye remained silent; as a pet, it had no right to resist or speak.

His body was pressed against the wall, his pants were torn open, and without any foreplay, he took him.

It always takes time for things to ignite; I'm used to it.

Even in the dead of night, one should not ask for it.

She gritted her teeth and endured his brutality; her body was being torn apart, but there was no heartache.

A heart that has died and turned to ashes can never be resurrected.

Quitting drugs requires immense willpower and can be fatal if not done properly. That's why Xiao Jingran went so far as to ask his best friend to help Shen Ye quit drugs.

This is Ye Sheng, a sunny young man who is also a psychologist. His job is to chat with Shen Ye, enlighten him, and help him have the will to live during the process of drug rehabilitation.

But Chen Ye was determined to die, so why would she think about living?

At first, no matter how Ye Sheng spoke to Shen Ye, Shen Ye acted as if he hadn't heard her and stared blankly out the window.

Knowing that Shen Ye longed for freedom, he often took Shen Ye to the mountains for walks and sightseeing at Xiao Jingran's behest.

Once, Ye Sheng accidentally let Shen Ye run to the edge of a small cliff. Looking at the boy who smiled at him like the blazing sun, Ye Sheng grabbed Shen Ye's hand the moment he jumped. No one can save someone who is determined to die.

Even at the risk of falling together, he didn't let go of Shen Ye's hand. He said, "As long as you're alive, everything will be alright. Death can't solve everything. At least, I hope you live well."

But Shen Ye didn't want to be in pain anymore, yet he couldn't break free from Ye Sheng's grasp. He didn't want to drag an innocent life down with him to die.

Having gone through life and death, Shen Ye gradually seemed to develop a dependence on Ye Sheng. It was a sense of security, a feeling that supported him in not being afraid of the future.

In the dark and oppressive room, Xiao Jingran stood in front of the window, smoking one cigarette after another, still in his military uniform, his face cold and expressionless.

The room was dark. Ye Sheng stood to the side and said, "What's wrong? You've already smoked a pack of cigarettes since I came in."

After a long silence, he uttered a few words in a low voice, his face still expressionless, "I heard he's been getting very close to you lately."

"Yeah, you've tormented someone who used to be so lively and cheerful into this state. Are you a psychopath?"

"Where did you touch him?" he asked, his voice cold as ice.

"It touched everywhere."

Xiao Jingran suddenly looked at Ye Sheng, his eyes as cold as ice. "Is that so?"

"Otherwise what? But he really does have a beautiful smile; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call him a stunning beauty." Ye Sheng hadn't yet noticed Xiao Jingran's unusual behavior.

"How did you touch it?" Xiao Jingran coldly uttered those words, then extinguished his cigarette and fiddled with his wristwatch.

His slender fingers tapped the clock face lightly, but the sound was particularly jarring in the empty and quiet room. Only then did Ye Sheng realize that this was Xiao Jingran's last chance to explain.

"I'm a psychologist. How can I counsel him without physical contact? Don't assume everyone is a pervert like you, okay?" The room was a bit cold, and Ye Sheng instinctively pulled his clothes tighter around himself.

Xiao Jingran raised his eyes, his deep, cold gaze falling on Ye Sheng. "Did you sleep with him?"
