“Yes, I have a bad heart, so you should swallow all your cosmetics so you can have inner beauty.” Shen Ye’s tone was flat and emotionless.
Jian Tong was stunned. How could a man's words be so sharp? She was completely impressed.
"Ah Yi, I have to say, your taste is really... hard to describe." Jian Tong forced a smile, trying her best to regain the last bit of dignity.
Chi Ruoyi scoffed coldly, her eyes filled with disdain, "Then who would have good taste? Like you?"
She thought these words would be sarcastic to Shen Ye, but she didn't expect Chi Ruoyi to turn around and mock her. Jian Tong couldn't accept Chi Ruoyi like this. Although Chi Ruoyi's attitude towards her hadn't been very good before, at least it wasn't like this today.

Upon hearing this, Chi Ruoyi smiled, his smile nonchalant, "Don't worry, I don't think much of her."
Jian Tong opened her mouth, but couldn't utter a single word. She only felt a bone-chilling coldness pierce through her heart. This was the first time Chi Ruoyi had spoken ill of her.
Looking at Jian Tong's discomfitured face, Shen Ye showed no pity whatsoever. "Did you hear that? He doesn't even like you, yet you keep trying to seduce him, acting all 'slutty' in front of him. Go ahead and act 'slutty,' even if you die from it, it's not yours."
"Are you from a mental hospital? You bite anyone you see. And the security guards outside are really something, letting just anyone in."
As she spoke, she took a glass of red wine from the tray of a passing waiter, intending to deliberately pour it on Shen Ye. However, Shen Ye had already seen through everything. The moment she reached out to pour the red wine on herself, Shen Ye pushed the waiter, and the red wine in Jian Tong's hand splashed all over her.
Having succeeded, Shen Ye watched Jian Tong with a look of amusement. Her attempt to harm others backfired, and this was the retribution for her scheming nature.
Jian Tong frowned slightly and immediately got angry. She raised her hand and slapped the waiter hard across the face. Shen Ye didn't stop her. This was the effect he wanted. Let her make a scene. The bigger the fuss, the angrier Jian Tong would be, and then the hidden mission could be completed.
"Are you doing this on purpose? Do you know how much this dress costs? If you have no sense of propriety, why are you working as a waitress?" Jian Tong glared angrily and cursed.
The noisy banquet hall was quickly quieted down by the sound of the slap and the insults. People searched for the source of the sound and finally their eyes fell on Jian Tong.
"I'm talking to you! Are you blind? You can't even walk properly. Do you think you can just bump into me?"
"Isn't this woman Jian Tong, the newly crowned Best Actress? She's really beautiful, but... how can her heart be so ugly?"
One of the male guests couldn't help but ask out of curiosity.
"Hahaha." Someone scoffed in response, "A woman with an angelic face and a vicious heart, I really don't know how she became an actress."
"She got her position by sleeping around. I heard she's slept with every director in the country, and now she's aiming for directors abroad."
"Isn't that right? She climbed to her current position by relying on her pretty face and devilish figure. She never takes other actresses seriously and always thinks she is superior to others on set."
