Shen Ye shook his head and didn't say anything. Although he had been in a coma for several days, he hadn't lost his memory.
"What would you like to eat? I'll peel an apple for you." Chi Ruoyi took an apple out of the drawer, her slender fingers deftly peeling it, then cutting it into small pieces and feeding it to Chen Ye.
"Thank you." Shen Ye took a bite of the apple; it was sweet, a feeling of happiness.
Before he could even swallow the apple, Shen Ye coughed weakly a few times, making Chi Ruoyi's heart clench with longing.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know apples weren't edible." Chi Ruoyi looked at Shen Ye with great heartache.
"It's okay, it's not your fault, I choked because I ate too fast."
Shen Ye was wrapped up like a mummy. Except for his hands and face, his lower body was wrapped in bandages. His waist was the most seriously injured, and his legs and feet also had fractures of varying degrees, so he couldn't get out of bed for a while.
After a month in the hospital, the bandages and casts on Shen Ye's legs and waist were removed, but he still couldn't walk too much. Shen Ye didn't want to stay in the hospital and kept pestering Chi Ruoyi to let him go. In the end, Chi Ruoyi finally agreed.

But this is even better; Chi Ruoyi prefers it this way.
As dawn broke, Shen Ye was exhausted, but Chi Ruoyi seemed to still be in high spirits.
Shen Ye took a deep breath, looked at Chi Ruoyi, and said somewhat indistinctly, "How many times has this happened... Aren't you supposed to be filming at dawn?"
"I'm not going."
"Can....."
"Darling, if you keep making noise, I'll get rough." Chi Ruoyi leaned down, her magnetic, husky voice and warm breath tickling his ear, making him feel itchy inside.
