After emptying the toilet, Gu Qimu punished him again for not scrubbing it properly, making him scrub it clean before bringing it back.
When she returned, Yu Niannian was standing by the desk, watching Gu Qimu paint, and occasionally saying a few words.
When she saw Shen Ye come in, she first glanced at him with disdain, and then, just as Shen Ye was about to leave, she suddenly called out to him.
"Go and bring me a cup of tea."
Shen Ye looked at Yu Niannian with an unfriendly expression. "Fine, I'll let you show off for a while."
Outside, the wind howled and snow fell heavily. Chen Ye walked back and forth in the corridor alone. Because the temperature was below zero, his hands had been exposed to the cold for a long time and were already red with cold. His hands felt like they didn't belong to him.

Shen Ye took a deep breath, turned around with a polite smile, first glanced at Yu Niannian, and finally focused his gaze on Gu Qimu, who continued to paint as if nothing had happened.
If you're all going to treat him like this, fine, I'll play along.
"My lady, you just said the tea I brewed was too hot?"
"Yes," Yu Niannian replied immediately.
"Then may I ask, Your Highness, are you sure it was very hot when you drank it?" Shen Ye asked unhurriedly, as if he already had a solution in mind.

"So Your Highness means the outside temperature is indeed minus ten degrees Celsius?" Shen Ye asked Gu Qimu again.
"What exactly do you want to say? Can't you hear me even if I tell you to kneel down now?" Yu Niannian shouted sharply, as if Shen Ye had just seduced Gu Qimu.
"What I'm trying to say is that since the outside temperature has already dropped below zero, it would take at least half an hour to walk from the tea room to His Highness's study. Even if I carried the hot tea and walked as fast as I could, it would be cold by the time I got here. So how could I have harmed His Highness with hot tea?"
Shen Ye would never refer to himself as a servant, because his pride forbids it.
