Shen Ye didn't want to see Du Anning, but the mental hospital kept hoping that Shen Ye could meet with her, because they felt that it might help improve her condition.
"Little system, I've defeated the villains so many times, can you open a prop shop for me now?" Shen Ye felt uneasy, as if something was about to happen, so it would be better to have some props for protection.
'Alright, I'll open the item shop for you, but with your points, you won't get anything good.'

At 2 PM, Shen Ye drove to the mental hospital to see Du Anning.
Du Anning now looks like she's terminally ill, emaciated, with a sallow complexion and an overall deathly aura. Her sunken eyes are devoid of any life.
Shen Ye arrived at Du Anning's hospital room and stood at the door watching her.
Du Anning huddled in the corner, hugging her knees, and when she saw Shen Ye standing at the door, a glimmer of hope seemed to appear in her eyes.
"Brother Ye, you've finally come to see me." With that, she got up from the ground and rushed towards Chen Ye. The staff immediately stepped forward to stop Du Anning, preventing her from getting any closer.
"Get out of my way, my brother Ye is here to take me back. Don't stop me, or I'll have him buy your hospital and fire you all."
Looking at Du Anning like this, Shen Ye didn't feel the thrill of revenge; instead, he felt melancholy.
For some reason, he always felt that Du Anning was pretending to be crazy, but the way she looked at him didn't seem like she was faking it.
"Brother Ye, let me go! I want to be with my Brother Ye! Let me go..."
"Mr. Shen, Miss Du's illness stems from emotional distress. You should have a good talk with her and try to soothe her; that would be helpful for her condition," said the doctor who had called Shen Ye.
Shen Ye found it somewhat amusing. What kind of medical principle was this? He had never heard of it before.
However, if it were truly possible to cure Du Anning and allow her to remain in prison, Shen Ye would do his duty without hesitation.
The staff and the doctor all left, leaving only Shen Ye and Du Anning in the empty room.
Du Anning was wearing a hospital gown, which was too big for her and made her look too thin.
The staff members who were originally guarding the door had all left for some reason, and there was no one outside the ward. Shen Ye became more vigilant.
He looked at Du Anning warily, but saw a ferocious expression on her face.

Even at this point, Du Anning showed no remorse and still thought that her current situation was due to Shen Ye.
Shen Ye calmly said, "I'm just making sure you face the law sooner. Don't tell me you weren't the one who committed any of those murders!"
"So, according to that logic, Jiang Lin'an is also guilty, and he should come to prison to be with me. You blamed me for all the people he killed in order to protect him. No matter what, it was all because I love you."
"Do you really love me? Don't you have any idea?"
"It's because I love you so much that I made one mistake after another. If I didn't love you, I would be very happy. If I didn't love you and want to be your woman, I wouldn't have almost been turned into a vegetable by Jiang Lin'an. If I didn't love you, would I have killed that woman?"
