Jiang Chen cupped Shen Ye's face in his hands, his cool lips pressed against Shen Ye's eye sockets, and then his skin felt the touch of a wet, smooth tongue. The burning pain disappeared instantly, and the nail marks from Tai Shi Lin Bei's fingernails were gone.
"Does it still hurt?" Jiang Chen's tone and eyes were still so gentle.
Shen Ye shook his head, but inadvertently caught a glimpse of the sinister jealousy in Tai Shi Lin Bei's eyes.

Shen Ye discovered that his shadow had vanished, leaving only Bai Xuan's shadow on the ground.
It was around noon, the sun was blazing, and the relentless rays stretched the shadows of everything in the world to an extremely long length.
Logically speaking, even the darkest night is one of the myriad things in the world. Even if it were illuminated by the sun or a lamp, it would still cast a shadow.
Shen Ye immediately sensed that something was wrong; the constant chill in the air made him feel as if he were in Antarctica.
Seeing this, Bai Xuan panicked and hurriedly asked, "Ye, how come your shadow disappeared?"
He asked Shen Ye, but Shen Ye asked who?
Shen Ye looked completely bewildered, having no idea what was going on.
After thinking it over, Bai Xuan decided to go back the way he came to look for him. Could someone without a shadow still be considered a person?
An ominous premonition struck his brain, causing Shen Ye's psychological defenses to collapse instantly, leaving him feeling utterly deflated.
"Don't be afraid, we'll go back and look, we'll definitely find it." Bai Xuan stepped forward, hugged Shen Ye, and gently patted his back to comfort him.
"No need to look anymore. Let's go find Master Huang first and see if he can get my shadow back," Chen Ye said, looking at the sun in the sky.
If a shadow disappears, can it still be found? Where would you look for it? So he didn't agree with going back to look for it, as that would only waste time.
