Chapter 426 My Years as a Mistress to a Gangster Boss (32)

Park Chan-joon took a sip of tea and continued casually, "Ji-chen is very outstanding, so naturally he is never short of outstanding people around him. So you understand what I mean, right? Ji-chen has liked his younger brother Ji-ye since he was a child, but he was too young to understand what liking someone meant. By the time he understood, he no longer had the chance to like them. So now he completely sees you as Ji-ye. You have to be prepared for that."

Shen Ye's words were stuck in his throat; he didn't know how to answer.

Forced to end his conversation with Park Chan-joon, Shen Ye politely bowed and awkwardly walked out of the hall.

This is a place where land is extremely valuable, and those who can afford to own a house here are either very rich or very powerful.

However, the Park family was extremely wealthy, as their mansion was truly enormous. Chen Ye had to ask the servants for directions before finally finding Park Ji-shin.

From afar, he saw Park Ji-chen with a woman named Hye-fang. The two were talking about something, and because Park Ji-chen had his back to Shen Ye, he couldn't see Park Ji-chen's expression, but he could see the excited look on the woman's face.

Suddenly, the woman hugged Park Ji-shin tightly, looking as if she were crying.

Snap...

Blood dripped onto the grass, and he quickly took a tissue from his pocket to plug his nostrils.

Park Jimin saw Shen Ye standing there from afar and walked over.

"Jung-hwan, what are you doing here?"

Shen Ye's hands were covered in blood, and he hurriedly used the remaining tissues to wipe the blood off his hands.

He didn't dare turn around so that Park Jimin could see him, and just mumbled, "I didn't do anything. I just happened to be passing by and thought the scenery here was nice, so I stopped for a while."

Park Jimin approached step by step, raised his hand and grabbed Shen Ye's shoulder to turn him around, as if he was hiding something.

He's actually nothing like Park Ji-ye in terms of personality, only in appearance. But why does touching his shoulder remind me of the days I spent with Ji-ye when we were kids...?

Shen Ye covered his nose tightly, his heart pounding so hard it felt like it would jump out of his chest. What would happen if Park Jimin saw him like this?

Will they kick him out on the grounds that he has a medical condition? Will it be difficult for him to see Park Ji-shin again in the future?

Just as Park Jimin was about to turn Shen Ye around, Park Ji-shin's voice came.

"Jimin, what happened?"

"Big brother, it's nothing. I just saw Jung-hwan standing here for a long time, so I came over to say hello."

Shen Ye lowered his head and covered his nose tightly; he dared not look up.

Park Ji-shin glanced at the few drops of blood on the grass, frowned, and said, "Jimin, please tell Dad that Jung-hwan and I won't be eating at home today. We'll come another day. Goodbye for now."

After saying that, he pulled Chen Ye and walked outside without looking back.

After closing the car door, Park Ji-shin spoke again, "Lift your head up."

Shen Ye dared not raise his head; how could he possibly do so in his current state?

“Look up, do you hear me?” Park Ji-shin growled.

He grabbed Shen Ye's chin and made him lift his head. Because of the sudden movement, the tissue covering his nose fell off, and a stream of bright red blood immediately flowed down his nasal cavity.

Park Ji-shin gasped and trembled as he pulled out more tissues to wipe him down.

"Don't be afraid, I'll take you to see a doctor right away."

"No need, it's just that the air is too dry in autumn and winter, that's why I had a nosebleed. It'll be fine in a bit."

Park Ji-shin ignored him. No one gets a nosebleed for no reason. A bad feeling welled up in his heart, but he didn't dare to think about it too much. He was afraid.
