Her 1.8-meter height and delicate features attracted the attention of many female doctors from the branch hospital who came to attend the meeting.

Yan Bai's gaze dimmed, and he looked away.
After the meeting, Shen Ye was covered in cold sweat. Fortunately, Yan Bai didn't ask him to do anything; he just listened to their discussion.
The meeting didn't end until lunchtime.
After getting his food at the cafeteria, Shen Ye casually found a seat and sat down. A female doctor from the branch hospital came over and asked, "Dr. Yan, may I sit here?"
Shen Ye looked up, nodded, and then buried his head in his food.
There were so many seats around, yet she insisted on sitting here; it was obvious she wanted to strike up a conversation.
Too bad, this handsome guy isn't interested in you girls!
"Xue Rou, you didn't leave at noon?" Another female doctor carrying a tray sat down.
"Well, I won't make it back to the cafeteria in time for lunch, so I might as well eat something here."
"Hey, Dr. Yan is here too. You wouldn't happen to be...?"
The female doctor at the branch hospital glanced at Chen Ye subconsciously. "No, we don't know each other."
"Xue Rou, Dr. Yan doesn't have a girlfriend, and you don't have a boyfriend either, so you can match up."
The female doctor named Xue Rou chuckled, "How could someone as outstanding as Dr. Yan be interested in me?"
"Dr. Yan didn't say she didn't like you, how did you know? Let's exchange contact information, and you'll get to know each other better over time." The female doctor from the hospital looked at Shen Ye with a smile.
Shen Ye smiled and said, "I have a boyfriend." Then he picked up his tray and left.
In the afternoon, Shen Ye changed into a white coat, went to the parking lot, opened the front door, and before he could even step into the car, Yan Bai's cold voice rang out.
"Get down."
Shen Ye stiffened and turned to look at Yan Bai.
Yan Bai's face remained expressionless. He awkwardly closed the car door and stood to the side.
The car started, and Yan Bai's emotionless face flashed before Shen Ye's eyes before slowly disappearing.
Apart from the underground parking lot, Chen Ye looked up at the sky. The weather was gloomy, and a gust of wind blew by, carrying with it cold raindrops.
It's going to rain.
Shen Ye sighed and walked to the side of the road to hail a taxi.
A clap of thunder sounded, and large raindrops poured down from the sky. Pedestrians scattered in all directions, and soon the streets were deserted.
Rain pelted Shen Ye's body, soaking his shirt so much that it clung to his skin, making him extremely uncomfortable.
He ran to the bus stop, and taxis whizzed past him. He tried to flag one down several times, but none of them stopped.
Time passed silently, the rain grew heavier, and he couldn't flag down a single car. A gust of cold wind blew by, and he shivered, hugging himself tightly.
A taxi drove up from a distance, and Shen Ye stood to the side and reached out to flag it down. The car sped past, and he returned to the platform in disappointment.
Just then, the taxi that had just driven past reversed, rolled down the window, and a young and handsome face appeared inside the car.
Where to?
“Gulf 27.” Shen Ye opened the car door and got in. “Sorry, I got your seat wet. I’ll make it up to you later.”
The boy didn't say anything, focusing on driving, occasionally glancing at Chen Ye through the rearview mirror.
The hospital wasn't far from where they lived, about a fifteen-minute drive. Soon, they arrived at the residential area where he and Yan Bai lived.
