Having said all he needed to say, Yi Hexu didn't expect him to believe him; he just hoped that he would hear the truth.
Just as he was about to say something more, the phone in his pocket suddenly rang.
"Hey, Mom, what's wrong? What? I'll be right back."
Upon hearing that tone, Fang Qinyu knew it was Yi Hexu's mother, and turned his face away in disappointment.
Yi Hexu also felt quite embarrassed. He looked at him with difficulty and said, "Well, something happened to my mother. I'll go back first while I still have time."
Fang Qinyu watched Yi Hexu leave, and then all her feelings were stirred within her.
He vented all his frustration by throwing his pillow into his dorm room.
"You bastard, all you care about is your mom. What about me? What happened to treating everyone equally? Was it all a lie?!"
After yelling, he felt like he was acting like a complete idiot.
Why waste time on someone like that? What kind of nonsense is this?!
Meanwhile, Yi Hexu had just taken a taxi back from the school dormitory. Although it was evening for him, Fang Qinyu was an adult and should be fine.
When Yi Hexu opened the front door, he found his mother sitting on the sofa, looking at him angrily, which made him feel a little confused.
Why is his mother so angry? Didn't something happen? Why does she have that expression?
"Mom, where are you hurt? Did something happen? Do you need me to take you to the hospital?"
Yi's mother was initially very angry, but Yi Hexu kept saying that he was sick.
What angered him even more was that this brat was hoping he would get sick, wasn't he?
"You bastard, tell me what you've done today. Are you going to tell me yourself, or do we have to?"
Yi Hexu was puzzled as to why his mother asked such a question. "Mom, I don't understand why you're asking this. I didn't do anything yesterday."
Yi's mother rolled her eyes and threw all the photos over there for him to look at.
"Take a good look at this. Isn't this just a picture of you and that kid? And you still say it's nothing?"
Yi Hexu looked at the photo carefully. It seemed to be a photo taken when Fang Qinyu was looking for him. He wondered why his mother had taken it.
"You had someone follow me, didn't you?"
"Mom, how many times have I told you not to meddle in my affairs? Why won't you listen? Don't you trust me at all!"
Yi's mother had no time to engage in banter with Yi Hexu; all she knew was that if this boy wasn't treated soon, he was doomed!
It seems we have to head to S City immediately and leave this awful place, G City, or her son will definitely be doomed!
Fortunately, she was wise to book the train ticket in the morning; all she had to do was drug the person and bring them on the train.
"I won't say much to you, anyway, everything I do is for your own good."
Her son is so outstanding, he'll have a bright future no matter where he studies, and that will cure his father's illness!
In the middle of the night, Yi's mother quietly went to her son's room and found him asleep.
The computer wasn't turned off, and the photos on it were still of that boy, which made her feel disgusted just looking at them.
She poured the powder into her son's cup, and it would immediately get on his skin whenever he drank water!
A loud bang startled Mr. Yi, who thought something had happened to his son. He grabbed his wife's hand and asked anxiously.
"Did something happen to our son? Why is he making such a loud noise?"
Yi's mother shook off her husband's hand, and although she was a little impatient, she still explained.
"It's nothing, you're overthinking it. What could possibly happen? Maybe you dropped something. Just stay in your room and don't move around."
After comforting her husband, Yi's mother quietly went to her son's room.
She watched as her son collapsed, and then quietly, he was dragged from the room to the car without anyone noticing, not even her husband.
Yi Hexu's eyes stung a little from the sunlight, so he opened them.
"Where is this? It feels like I've never seen this before."
His heightened senses told him this wasn't his home, so he immediately got up and went outside to check his surroundings to see if he had been kidnapped or something.
But when he saw his parents and the new environment, he instantly understood. They had moved him! He shouldn't be in G City anymore, Fang Qinyu!
"Mom, what are you doing now? Why did you move me? I didn't know you asked me about it."
"What are you yelling about, you brat? I'm telling you this for your own good, but don't you think about what kind of future you're going to have by hanging out with that kid? Do you even care about your future?"
Yi Hexu didn't tell his mother that he actually had a contract with an annual salary of one million, which could have completely cured his father's illness, but now it was gone because of it.
"How am I supposed to survive here all by myself now? I don't have any skills. Do I have to change schools again?"
Yi's mother smiled smugly and said, "How could my son, who is so outstanding, not adapt well to a new school?"
Yi Hexu planned to tell his mother that he had been accepted by a big company.
Sure enough, her mother jumped up in surprise: "What? How could this be? When did you sign with a big company? I didn't know!"
The young man shook his head and said, "No, actually I had already been signed by a big company, but because of you, I had to terminate that contract."
Then, through a classmate's introduction, I went to another large company. The price was the same, and the boss was very nice to me, but I still managed to lose my job.
This money could easily cure Dad's illness, because they were willing to pay me this much upfront, but..."
Mr. Yi didn't hear anything, but Mrs. Yi heard it all. Did she ruin her son's future? Their family could have been living a good life long ago!
"Why didn't you tell me sooner or stop me? Now look what's happened, a million dollars!"
One million RMB just vanished without a trace; it's something no one could have imagined.
Yi Hexu sneered inwardly, "It's all because of your own actions, you brought this on yourself."
The middle-aged man seemed to understand something and shook his head desperately in pain.
"What a terrible thing you've done! What a terrible thing you've done! Look at the mess you've made!"
"Shut up! It's just a million. With my son's talent, how could he not earn it back? We can just start over. What's the point of all this shouting?"
With her hands on her hips, Yi's mother, having just finished scolding her son, rested there panting.
"What's the big deal? As long as you don't hang out with that classmate, it'll be fine."
"This is utterly unreasonable. Dad, you didn't even say who she was, but look what Mom has done to her."
