The next day, Liu Liu came out of the room with panda eyes. Seeing the few people still cooking and waiting for food in the restaurant, she dawdled over.
"I'm so sleepy, I didn't sleep well at all last night. I kept feeling like someone was watching me, it was so creepy." Liu Liu yawned. "Sister Annie, didn't you feel anything?"
"I can feel it, but I can't stay awake." Annie shrugged and put the fried eggs on the plates of the group.
"I'm fine," Qin Yang said, taking out the freshly baked bread. "It's just that I keep hearing knocking sounds coming from Zhou Yang and Xiao Pei's room."
"The sound of knocking on the wall?" Liu Liu blinked, looked at the two people, and smiled without saying a word.
Pan Yang rolled his eyes: "We didn't do anything. We killed a skull last night. As for the knocking on the wall, we didn't hear it."
"I don't feel well. Be careful." Zhou Yang frowned.
After everyone finished breakfast, they stayed in the living room again. Nothing strange happened throughout the day, but late at night, it started to rain outside.
However, it was a strange red rain.
"ah!"
A scream ripped through the sky, and almost instantly everyone arrived at Annie and Liu Liu's room.
Outside the window, a skeleton holding a red umbrella floated, seemingly staring intently into the room.
Liu Liu took a few steps back with Annie: "Just now, it suddenly appeared and floated there, which startled me."
Qin Yang frowned as he looked at the skeleton outside the window. "You two should switch rooms," he said, walking to the window and drawing the curtains.
Now Liu Liu and Annie couldn't sleep either, so the five of them simply huddled together in the living room.
Liu Liu was feeling sleepy and dozing off when suddenly there was a sound of lightning outside. Startled, Liu Liu clutched her chest and exclaimed, "Oh no! I just wanted to sleep!"
Qin Yang sighed, "If you're really tired, just go to sleep. We're all here, and Xiao Pei is here too."
For once, Pan Yang nodded: "Yes, with me here, at least the ghosts will die before us."
"So, once all the ghosts are dead, we'll all be dead?" Annie joked.
"Possibly." Zhou Yang's voice was flat, which, combined with the rainy night, made it feel strangely eerie.
“I’m just talking nonsense!” Annie looked at Zhou Yang.
"The ghost outside your window is the skull that Fan Yang killed before. Just now, when Liu Liu was talking, there was that female ghost from the TV outside the window." Zhou Yang's voice was slow and his words were clear. He was saying the scariest things in the most calm tone.
He had barely finished speaking when another flash of lightning sounded outside. Liu Liu jumped in fright and clung to Annie's arm, saying, "It's okay, it's okay. There are only five days left. If we don't move around, we should be fine, right?"
"..." No one replied, and the surroundings fell silent.
Anne sighed, "It'll be alright."
Time passed second by second, and everyone finally couldn't hold on any longer and fell asleep. However, when they opened their eyes, it was still dark outside, and the blood rain was still falling.
After dinner, they continued in the living room. Liu Liu looked at the clock on the wall and said, "The clock isn't moving. Do you know what time it is?"
Qin Yang looked at the watch on his wrist and shook his head: "The watch is broken too."
“Then wouldn’t we never know the speed of time?” Anne said, feeling a sense of fear creeping into her heart.
The lights suddenly went out as soon as he finished speaking.
"Ah!" Liu Liu exclaimed in surprise.
Then there was a moment of silence. Pan Yang touched the side but found nothing. He could vaguely hear a sound, like the clattering of upper and lower teeth.
Pan Yang silently summoned Xiao Yao and held it in his hand. Immediately afterward, he felt a chill on his shoulder. Without hesitation, Pan Yang raised his sword, turned around, and slashed.
The surroundings lit up, revealing a skull holding an umbrella standing there. The skull's other hand was severed and lay on the ground, its upper and lower teeth clashing together as if it were laughing.
And this spot wasn't the living room anymore; it was actually the painting room, with many messy paintings on the walls, but they all had one thing in common: they were eerie.
Pan Yang shook Xiao Yao off, and the skeleton instantly moved behind Pan Yang. Pan Yang thrust back and flicked upwards, then slammed the skeleton to the ground and stomped on it. Xiao Yao pierced through the skeleton's skull.
The paintings around them began to shake violently, making loud noises.
Zhou Yang looked around at the scene and realized that he had actually arrived at the music room. Then he saw the piano start playing music automatically, and the music was very elegant.
Zhou Yang walked to the door and found that he couldn't open it at all. Then the music playing on the piano became more and more chaotic and jarring. He covered his ears and frowned slightly.
He then took a deep breath, walked to the piano, sat down, and his fingertips danced on the keys. The chaotic sounds disappeared instantly. Zhou Yang felt a chill run down his spine, and it was as if someone was holding his hands and making him dance on the keys.
Then there was a knock on the door.
"Is anyone inside?" It was Qin Yang's voice.
"have."
"Zhou Yang!" Qin Yang pushed the door open but there was no response. "Are you safe in there?"
"Everything's fine for now, go find Pan Yang."
"Okay, I'll go find him right away to save you." Qin Yang's footsteps faded into the distance.
As Liu Liu watched the ghost getting closer, she gasped, gritted her teeth, closed her eyes, and thought, "What's the worst that can happen? I'll just die." She rushed towards the door, but the closed door suddenly burst open, and she fell directly into Annie's arms.
The screams of a vengeful ghost reached their ears, and Pan Yang immediately closed the door. Liu Liu looked at the two of them and breathed a sigh of relief: "You scared me to death, thank goodness you came."
Annie patted her on the back: "It's okay, it's okay, cheer up."
"Xiao Pei! I've finally found you." Qin Yang was overjoyed to see the three of them and quickly walked over: "Come with me, Zhou Yang is in danger."
The four then arrived at the music room door. When Pan Yang tried to open it but couldn't, he used Xiao Yao to force the door open. The door crashed to the ground and instantly turned to dust.
Just as Fan Yang was about to step inside.
"Don't come in." Hearing Zhou Yang's voice, he stopped in his tracks. He felt a gust of wind, and a bloody mark appeared on Pan Yang's face in an instant.
"There's something wrong with this music. If you come in, it will sound like the door, but I can't stop it," Zhou Yang explained, his voice devoid of any panic.
"What should we do then?" Liu Liu frowned, her pretty face almost scrunched up. "We can't get in, and Zhou Yang can't get out either."
Pan Yang twisted his wrist, weighed Xiao Yao in his hand, and threw it over. Xiao Yao bounced back halfway through the flight. Pan Yang caught Xiao Yao and felt his wrist go numb from the impact.
Qin Yang stopped Fan Yang: "Don't rush, let's think of other ways. Since your sword can go in halfway, there must be a way."
"Yes, yes, let's calm down first." Liu Liu nodded repeatedly.
