Chapter 269 Heartfelt Words Reflected in the Heart 4

Then Ye Zhouyang came to the Yun family for dinner in a daze. He came in at the dinner table to minimize his presence. After dinner, the two went to Pan Yang's room.

The room was large and clean, and Pan Yang simply lay down on the bed, feeling incredibly comfortable.

Seeing his expression, Ye Zhouyang couldn't help but chuckle. He pulled out a gaming chair from next to the computer desk and sat down. "Your room is very well-equipped. Do you usually have all this stuff at home?" He pointed to the items in the room.

Pan Yang nodded. These things were indeed things the original owner was interested in, but apart from the computer and those few books, he wasn't particularly interested in them.

"May I ask why you can't speak?" Ye Zhouyang's tone was somewhat tentative. "Just asking, would you like to read a book together?"

Pan Yang shrugged. He didn't seem to care much about the issue. He took out his phone and typed: "Congenital vocal cord hypoplasia, possibly due to genetic factors. I didn't pay much attention to it at first." By the time it was discovered, the original owner's personality was already rather introverted and withdrawn, so he just let the original owner be.

Ye Zhouyang nodded thoughtfully: "Then let's find something to do." He walked to the bookshelf. The original owner's bookshelf had many books, from philosophy to novels, as well as some famous works. Then he saw a black-covered book placed alone on the table and became interested.

She picked up the book and sat down next to Pan Yang, her voice slightly puzzled: "What is this book? Do you read it often?" She then flipped through the book, glanced at it briefly, silently closed it, and took a deep breath.

Is this some kind of pampered protection? Is this some kind of innocent and naive person? Ye Zhouyang was starting to question his existence. He felt the book in his hands was getting hot, and he resisted the urge to throw it away, slowly placing it on the table.

Pan Yang blinked innocently. "Hey, hey, hey, don't blame me for this! I did read the book and I put it there, but I didn't ask him to take it!"

001 sneered: "Host, you should watch less of this stuff. Look how scared you've made the hidden characters."

It was truly impressed. What kind of good person reads these books with a blank expression every day, and only these few books over and over again? It could even recite the contents of the books by heart. Of course, it was a pure system, so don't ask it what the contents of the books were.

"Well, let's change the book." Ye Zhouyang tried his best to remain calm and finally picked a book that looked harmless and started reading.

His voice was deep and calm, quite pleasant to the ear. The ordinary sentences sounded strangely nice coming from his mouth, and they were also very soothing to the ear. I don't know how long he recited them, but Fan Yang actually fell asleep.

Ye Zhouyang saw that Pan Yang was already fast asleep, gently closed the book, put it aside, adjusted Pan Yang's posture, covered him with a blanket, and quietly left the room.

As they walked downstairs into the living room, Mr. Yun, who was sitting on the sofa, saw Ye Zhouyang and stood up from the sofa: "Young Master Ye, although it may be a bit abrupt, you don't like Pan Yang now, so it's best not to contact Pan Yang anymore. The Yun family doesn't want to get involved in the affairs of your Ye family."

"If you're only trying to win over the Yun family, you don't need to. Huan Yang hasn't had much contact with people in recent years, so naturally he's not on guard against you. But that doesn't mean you can take advantage of him."

Ye Zhouyang stopped and looked at Yun's father. To be honest, he had only felt that Yun Panyang was somewhat interesting at first, which was why he did not reject him directly. But Yun Panyang had been refreshing his understanding of things all day long.

Thinking of this, he touched the bracelet on his other wrist and then said, "If you're worried about Huan Yang, you can rest assured. I don't want to use him. I believe I have the ability to overthrow the Ye family. As for what you said about me not liking Huan Yang..."

Ye Zhouyang's tone slowed down: "I'm afraid you're wrong. After spending this day together, I think I've fallen for Huanyang, and it's not just a fling, it's serious."

"Once things have settled down with the Ye family, I will personally demonstrate my resolve to you. If there is nothing else, I will take my leave now."

Seeing that he wasn't joking, Yun's father remained silent for a moment before speaking: "It's alright now. I hope you won't disappoint Huanyang."

"Of course not." After saying that, Ye Zhouyang walked towards the door. He walked for about half an hour before calling the Ye family to come and pick him up.

When Ye Zhouyang returned home, he saw his father leisurely drinking tea. After seeing Ye Zhouyang return, his father put down his teacup and looked at Ye Zhouyang with some dissatisfaction.

"Ye Zhouyang, were you with Yun Panyang today? How old are you, still out playing all day?"

“Father, I’m afraid you haven’t found out everything.” Ye Zhouyang walked to the opposite side of Ye’s father and looked directly into his eyes. “I was in a car accident today. If I hadn’t been lucky, you probably wouldn’t be here today. Father, you have time to scold me, but why don’t you teach your bunch of illegitimate children a lesson?”

“If I find those bastards spying on the Ye family again, I won’t hesitate to clean house for Father.” Ye Zhouyang spoke slowly and deliberately, then smiled and said, “I think Father knows what to do, right?”

“Hey, Zhouyang, you can’t talk to your father like that. He cares about you, after all.” A middle-aged man who looked to be in his late fifties walked in from outside the door. He was Ye Zhouyang’s second uncle.

"Second Uncle is joking. If bringing an illegitimate child home is considered caring, it would probably make us a laughing stock." Ye Zhouyang looked at his second uncle, his eyes darkening. "Don't think I don't know what happened in the car accident today. Even if I really die, you won't get a single penny from the Ye family."

"I'm tired after saying so much. You two can continue your conversation. I'm going back to my room first." With that, he didn't even glance at Ye's father and walked straight past him upstairs.

Uncle Ye snorted coldly and looked at Father Ye with a mocking tone: "You really have a fine son."

Ye's father remained silent, his face grim.

When the sun set, Huan Yang woke up to find the room empty. He picked up his phone and saw several messages from Ye Zhouyang.

He basically told him he was going home, and that they could go out together sometime when he was free. He also told him to call if he wanted to see him, and that he could visit him anytime.

Pan Yang replied with an emoji and got out of bed. When he walked out of his room, he saw Yun's father sitting in the living room. Yun's father heard the noise, looked at Pan Yang, and sighed after a long while.

"Are you hungry? Eat first. Ye Zhouyang has been gone for a long time. If you want to see him, I'll take you to him later, how about that?"

Pan Yang nodded and walked to the dining table. To be honest, he could have gone to find Ye Zhouyang himself. Yun's father was still too concerned about him. He was just mute, not unable to take care of himself.
